"Follow" favorite maps - get tournament notifications

Enable "following" of Favorite maps, specifically for getting tournament notifications

Add maps to favorites. Get notifications about those maps.

Specifics/Details:
Add maps to favorites. Get notifications about those maps.
Organizers posting in tournaments could be forced to select maps for the tournaments to enable this feature.

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
I keep missing tournaments focused on maps I like. I would participate more if I knew they existed.

I think this would be a pretty cool idea if a system was put in place that would recognize it. Unfortunately such a system does not exist, and would make life much more painful for TDs.

The Tournament World has been promised some updates, but as to what they are I don't know. Hopefully your issue will be fixed, at least partially, when they come.

Another problem with this is how to do it. Leave it up to TOs and you might get spelling mistakes, making it automated would probably take more time to do and have resistance. And then what about the settings, you might like the map, get the PM saying the map is in a tournament and the settings chosen are not to your liking. 16 player tournaments can fill very fast, so even with the system, you may be late.

Solutions to this problem.

• Look at tournaments page more often.
• Run your own tournaments.
