The userid. User 600,000 joined June 18, 2012. I don't agree with using this to claim how many players there are since the vast, vast, vast majority of these played 4 games or less. Just stating where the number is coming from.
You know, just because everybody does it, it does not mean it's rightpuppydog85 wrote:I'm pretty sure it's standard in the gaming world to state how many accounts have been created?
How many times have you seen MMORG's advertising millions of users? I'm sure a large amount only played for a day and then forgot they had the account (Evony anyone? Come on- you know you signed up after seeing those ad's)

Not to mention, MY dice suck!!! and have for long time. And now to find out the dice are not exactly random.
GREAT.
Really makes me want to continue playing on this site.
Whaa whooo, I am having fun now!

If we were talking about some objective right and wrong issue, that would be true enough.OliverFA wrote:You know, just because everybody does it, it does not mean it's rightpuppydog85 wrote:I'm pretty sure it's standard in the gaming world to state how many accounts have been created?

unless it's flat rate, cards early on aren't that important. Try to be less aggressive and you might do better. Give it a whirl for a few games and see if the outcome is better.Gweeedo wrote:It might start out 7v2 and works its way down to 2v2 across the board.
There are many games where I miss a card for two turns and can not go another turn missing a card...so I kamikaze!
I am telling you, I do not win battles!
Specially at the start of my game.
I go more than a few turns with out getting a card.
Actually, lately my 2v2 is the only battles I can win.
As you can see from the post above.
Actually, it was a long time ago. It was before my time, and I've been here just over three years. When I joined there were 22,000 or 23,000 members, something like that. The peak of 25,000 was sometime in 2009, and a lot has happened since then.codeblue1018 wrote:It doesn't seem so long ago when there were 25000 members.
We've gained about 500 members in the last 5 weeks, which is pretty encouraging.Qwert wrote:11271!Agent 86 wrote:We are in free fall Qwert, anyone got a parachute?

everybody go to game finder and start use parachute option! this its only what can save us from certain fast contact with ground!
Ya but this game still has dice. It is all about dice.Paddy The Cat wrote:I haven't read every page of this thread, but I want to answer the question ' is cc declining?' I say that answer is a resounding NO, it is on the upswing. We're starting to get members back, and while it's much lower than it used to be, this is positive news.
But what's more important than total users is the direction in which the site is heading. We have seen more updates recently than I remember seeing in the past two years prior! The BigWham has really made this site BETTER in my opinion... bots, parachute, starting to change the look, no fort games, zombies, 12 player, polymorphic, score range, the list goes on.
I cant wait till my life settles down and I can start playing more games, I think the future of CC is bright!
Do you love playing Spades which is all about cards. Do you love that game but hate the cards?Gweeedo wrote:Ya but this game still has dice.
