I was dying of cancer, and was on my death bed when he came to me....his noodlyness was....awesome....and he touched me with his meatballs. When i awoke, i was cancer free.
Wow, I'm glad there's a link to His Noodliness' page, as I myself am a Pastafarian. It's great, there's nothing special you have to do at all, except occasionally talk like a pirate, which I do anyway...
And also there is not only another Pastafarian here, but another Father Jack fan!!! This must be heaven, as created by His Noodliness, although he hasn't got round to adding the strippers and beer volcano...
Can I dispute Fr. Ted being British? It is based on a (fictional) Irish island, written by an Irish guy, and performed (mostly) by Irish actors... who cares that it was produced by Channel 4.
I take exception to this website's claim that the number of pirates has been declining steadily for the past two hundred years. I can tell you from experience that this is not the case at all. We prefer to be called "legitimate businessmen" these days; however, this should not suggest that our membership has suffered or that our core business activities have changed.
Also, I realize that there are several sports teams named the "pirates", and that there are millions of music/software "pirates". But *real* pirates use swords.
That is, as long as you do not use sword or some kind of weapon, you are not qualified as a pirate.
Lemme see now......Im ex navy, still have a bat with a thong thru the handle hanging behind my door for emergencies, and used to be considered quite a "swordsman" in the good ole days.....hmmmm.........oh what the hell.....aaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrh matey.....

I actually prefer the term "Buccaneer-American."
The Flying Spaghetti Monster is the preferred dish at the wedding of Eris Kallisti Discordia and J. R. "Bob" Dobbs. The FSM was glad to donate his tasty noodlyness to the nuptials.
