Nobody wants to play with the cook
Feels like whenever I join a group speed game it empties and I'm the only one in it, and when I post a single-player game nobody joins.

Possibly people don't want to run the risk of you wasting their time with 94% of turns taken. Nothing worse than a deadbeat in a speed game.

94% isn't that bad. A lot of my turns were from 2008 when I missed a lot of turns. I don't miss turns anymore.

Perhaps you could look into instruction to help raise your sufficiently to be less scary?

I'll be honest. I think many players, like myself, don't like to play against cooks or other low-rankers because we lose too many points for losing a game. I really think that's the main reason why it's hard for you to find people to play with/against. I also had a difficult time when I first joined the site.

Correction nothings better than a deadbeat in a speed game.
