Game Finder - Games Returned / Page

As the clan member who is in charge of administering Tournaments and Clan Wars for my clan I use Game Finder extensively. I often find myself retrieving much more information than I need and ignoring a lot of it. I end up retrieving the same data over and over, just to discard it.

Concise description:

• Add an option to specify the number of games returned per page.
• Add an option to specify a date to limit the search.
• Add an option to limit the number of games returned.

Specifics/Details:

• Specify the number of games returned per page:
  1) Add a drop down box with different options for the number of games returned per page or
  2) Add a field where the number of games can be specified with a default value of 100

• Add an option to specify a date to limit the search:
  1) Add a date field that would restrict the search by a date.
  • Add a drop down box of dates to restrict the search by:
    a) Start Date
    b) Completion Date
    c) other?
  • Add a date field
    a) to be entered manually or
    b) to be chosen from a calendar
• Add an option to limit the total number of games to return.
  1) Add a field the user can specify a value that would limit the number of games returned or
  2) Add a drop down box of values

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:

• Personal Benefits:
  a) It will shrink the amount of data I have to filter through to get what I’m after, i.e. I don’t retrieve the same data over and over again just to discard 90% of it.
  b) Decreases the number of web pages I need to download.

• Conquer Club Benefits
  a) Less workload on DB server as less data is retrieved.
  b) Less network load as there is less data to transmit over the Internet

Perhaps an additional thing to add to this would be to be able to adjust the game number from an equals to a greater than or less than.

If I put in game number 12345678, that is the game i get but it would be beneficial in some ways to be able to define search criteria, then use the game number as a limiter, where I only want games that are greater than 12345678.

I don't see an issue with this, although, I'm not sure that it would be less work on the server.
