I have the CCup5 drafted and ready to go. We are waiting for the CL6 structure to be finalized before I post CCup5 for comment in CDF.

My plan is to post CCup5 in a week or so. Give it a few days for comment (there aren't that many changes). Perhaps a quick vote, but get sign ups concluded right around the time CCup4 is entering or just about entering the finals. We can then do a couple weeks for sign ups, and then do the draft for the play-ins and get those going asap. The procedure will be the same as last year, but now that we know how we are doing it, it should be faster this go around. I would say beginning to early middle of April for the play-ins to start.

I have no information from the CDs whatsoever, but I would assume that the Cup won't start for at least 4ish? months. We've just exchanged batch 2 of 3 games in the semi finals, so the final match up won't begin for at least 1-2 months. If any of the current matches end in a tie with the initial set of games, there will probably be an additional month or so added to the total.

I think I fast posted you. I have a work around for a drag on CCup4 if that occurs. However, I anticipate we can get the play-ins started, the CCup4 finalists will receive byes, and we can get it going in earnest very soon.

Yeah, I'm obviously being optimistic. But I've been updating a CCup5 thread as new settings and things have come out. So the main part should be done. We just will need to get some opinions in CDF regarding some of the new settings, etc. I'll update everyone as soon as I know when things are happening.

Update. I have posted the proposed CCup5 in the CDF for discussion. Will probably leave it there for at least two weeks and see if there is anything that needs voted on. If you have any suggestions, convey them to your CDF representative. Thanks!
