@Lootifer. I do not believe any of the 5 need to rationalize who they give the horse to if the alternative is death.

I was going to post the same, but it's not entirely true. Staying alive is obvious. However, there is a choice between the 4 other players and since the deadline is looming, gifting the horse is a quite expressive desire to see the target dead rather than any of the other three. Succombing to randomness until the music stops will never help town, and since apparently some of the players believe there can be scum (or even, that there likely is scum) between the five, I'd like to see some action backing up that claim.

Dude, my post is quoted in the post by Tailgunner which you quoted in your post. You simply conveniently cut out my post and only responded to Tails. And I'm not going to quote it for you because you probably purposely ignored it, and I'd really enjoy seeing you use yet another excuse to stall. In regards to the second part of your post, I'm not putting words in your mouth, I'm simply adding them up. You mentioned twice that you consider that there could be one scum among you five. I expect that, as a good townie, you want to kill the scum. Hence, you must be dying to find out which of you five is scum so that you can unsaddle him at the end of the day. Since you clearly are not, I must conclude that either (a) you decided that the idea that there was scum amongst you is stupid in the first place, else you'd be building cases against the other four and not against voteless outsiders, or (b) you do not want to kill scum. Pick your poison.

So right now we have a Plinko wagon forming for an alleged OMGUS on somebody who is voteless. Read that last one if it doesn't make sense. This is a dumb wagon.

Right now, the horse game will take a random and I'd much prefer a random than jak. Due to deadline, it's probably getting close to claimtime jak.

13. Each game ‘day’ will last SEVEN 24 hour days. I will remind everyone if the deadline is near, and to look toward voting. So it appears to me, that jak + horseless is going to die as things stand. I'm going to vote No Lynch, two deaths on D1, is not going to help us. Particularly with the horse game been random, and lets say we get someone to claim, we need to get no lynch back in the majority in order to keep them alive, which, I doubt we can do in 2 days.

Even with the forced lynch rule voting no lynch two days out from the deadline is counter productive to the town. As it stands Jak and the horse victim will die and we won't have any useful information. Early game intel is important for town power roles to be effective. Going no lynch on the last 24 hours of the day phase isn't a bad idea. Before that time comes though we need to force a few role claims. Yeah, it sucks rooting out a townie. But if you force a scum to claim their claim can be verified over night.

Awesome. Since you understand it so much, you can explain to me exactly which rule edocsil did not read and how his post indicates that.

I believe what whatsausage was saying was that just because you picked a character and got a suitable role for them, the rule says alignment is random so it doesn't in any way prove whether you are town or scum or third party or whatever because of your character/role. whatsausage didn't exactly state it the best, and was a bit condescending... but I still don't see what in his post was worthy of a vote against him.

Anark's latest two points have moved me to unvote, vote Anark. Being away, getting your ass saved slightly by me no less, and then picking up the game by moaning about semi-ambiguous rules that make perfect sense if you only tried to understand them, which is basically discussing semantics, is not the way to go. If you do not understand the rules, PM the mod or post about it right away. But no, it took IB to get you to admit that you didn't "understand" the horse game, even though you are in it. Barring that, you decided to moan about spiesr not understanding the reference in "And even then, it was a one out of three shot to get any character." Clearly you have not been reading the rules yourself, since they clearly state that you do not HAVE to send in three characters. But then, you do already have a record for misunderstanding the rules. If someone (say, TFO) really wanted to be a character from Ed, Edd and Eddy, they would be. Manipulating your own role isn't that hard. Send in Dr. Evil as your character, and you'll likely be scum.

In all, (a) scumarining w/o leave, (b) being granted a pardon for the horse game and then moaning about it anyway, and (c) distracting town with useless discussion on allegedly ambiguous rules. Enough for day 1, seems to me

Then I thought about it. You have been super aggressive at me only after I said something to Spiesr... After that, it was all hands on deck against me. In my opinion, that makes an easy choice... You and Spiesr are a team. Because there is NO other logical reason for you to become so obsessed and belligerent.

So, I will say this, make a real point or back off... Ask a real question or go jack it on a street corner in San Diego... Alright, after almost 4 full days of no internet, I am back and caught up (though may need to reread some things). Anyways. For my activity report. KGB has posted recently.

As far as cases, the Jak case has been interesting though I am hesitant to vote him because the claim makes sense. Overall, I find his defense of the OMGus vote and his defense for defending Rodion worse than his initial statements on both. His reasoning for saying it wasn't an OMGus was weak at best. The spiesr didn't have a vote is a non-contingency unless he knew and remembered that Spiesr didn't have a vote which from context was obviously not the case. Furthermore, relying on the strict definition of an OMGus vote over defending the reasoning behind the vote, is not strong logic. A good player knows to disguise an OMGus vote that is why people get voted in the manner that Jak did. I also disagree with him on the Rodion argument. Rodion is a veteran, he is a good player. When I put him under the spotlight, take it as a compliment from me to him. Veterans in general are difficult to trip up, good players even more so. That is why I find it generally a good idea that when one of them does make small slips, you question them and force them to defend themselves. It is a much better plan then relying on them to slip up later on in the game, IMO. I can live with your reasoning to keep Rodion alive and I definitely do not like the idea of lynching him for little to no reason but a. I don't feel like that was anywhere close to happening and b. your zealous defense of Rodion over a fairly small attack seems over defensive. Where is the love for the other veterans?

As far as the horse game, I have no strong feelings on scum there. However, I will say that Virus has given me mostly town vibes and I, at this point, trust him over the other four.

I submitted one role, and got back a flavor that made sense. Not perhaps the one I would have picked, but one that works with the character. This has been true for the last two games as well.

To everyone discussing this, reread the first added rule. The important part: "Based on the data sent to me, I will create a role for one the characters. The player who sent me the character will receive that role with a ->random<- alignment."

I think that Whatsuasage thought that edoc'sil was referring to alignment and not just role when he said the flavor matched his character.

I wouldn't say you asked him to claim, Yoshi. What I interpret as asking is something in the lines of "I find you scummy and intend to vote/lynch you, unless you claim and that claim is strong enough to convince me otherwise". What you basically said was "I have no problem with you, Jak, but since other people do and you're currently the biggest wagon, I advise you to claim".

It matters, as otherwise Nark would have died.

As I interpret it, the VC had you voting Edoc because PCM's end of day post was applied retroactively to 8pm eastern time (probably the timestamp of the player who PMed him to end the day).

Interestingly, by checking everyone's CC profile we can find some players who HAVE NOT logged since that time and rule them out of being this clock dude.
