off topic a bit, My son who is caucasian , he`s 10 , was written up for laughing at a male black student ( who only has a mother ) this student had been suspended many times for acting out. on this occasion , only my son was admonished to my dismay. So the thought process being , that this student only acts out because my son laughs at him. Not because of the obvious. This boy will be holding the gun in the future.
A quick parenting lesson, although it is important for my children to learn good study habits . it doesn`t trump at this stage , developing a responsible moral character . Grades at this time do not matter , what matters to me is that , your a pleasure to have in class and your respectful to yourself and others.

The most relevant question would be what percentage of killers are homo sapiens. I have a strong suspicions homo neanderthalensis is likely the root of all violence. Evidence will likely be forth coming in the future.

The overall issue at hand is parents are failing their children, and it has everything to do with the breakdown of the standard traditional family unit and the barrage of attacks on it..
