Which brought me full circle to the purpose of this thread, because an Armoured Personnel Carrier really is the coolest form of transport.

No, that would be dangerous. I m not sure the hulk has a driving licence, and I would be worried about his short temper behind the wheel. I m also pretty sure the insurance rate would be huge. Which insurance contractor would give you a good rate if you came in with the hulk, a picture of the monster truck and you claimed that the hulk will be the main driver?
I also think that a monster truck isn t eco friendly and way too expensive to refill the gas tank.
Spare wheels are also very expensive.
Bottom line your choice of everyday transport sounds like a bad idea.

It's just when someone says "mechanized", I think of mechanized infantry. I realize the world has many other uses, but that's the first thing that pops into my mind. I guess I'm a bit of a history buff, but when someone says "mechanized" I immediately think of the debates that raged in the British and German General Staffs at the beginning of WWII about the relative importance of mechanized versus merely motorized troops.

I'd also like to claim that a personal aircraft is by far the coolest form of transportation, an APC just cannot compare, a submarine perhaps, okay a submarine actually beats a personal aircraft in coolness but barely.
