I am in the Dreddfort. My useful ability is I always know who sits on the Iron Throne. What other game would that be useful in Mr acting scummier by the minute Nebuchadnezer.

I do have a question, though: Why are you so dead set that there is a third party recruiter?

not so much of a dead set but more of a hunch that there is more than two main groups in a game this size. There is currently 4 different layers running concurrently that i know off and from what has been said so far there are other things going on. People with different objectives. Could be that Storr just divvied up something like 16 town and 8 mafia and formed them into some kind of matrix but i doubt it.

Hello again everyone, I have been a bit busy with RL and other mafia games that I have been lacking on keeping up with this one. As the day is winding down I dont have a clue on anything so I will be casting my vote for NL and hope to be back in time to read the thread to give a more better vote, I noticed there is a wagon on crasp if someone can give me some good reasons why crasp is scum I will look into voting for him. But for now Im going to assume everyone is town until proven otherwise.

My take on the crasp wagon: it was more of a punishment for his rant than people actually thinking he's scum. Crasp hasn''t tripped my scumdar in general, however his initial claim was pretty weak. Certainly not enough to get that wagon off his back. A lot is happening at the Dreadfort.

Two strikes against Zivel on the last page: quickly jumping off the crasp wagon after his aforementioned weak claim and misconstruing IB's role in the bunnie votes.

I'm going to Vote firth. I'm not in favor of a NL and his pursuit of betiko seems less about getting information or mafia but more about killing off betiko personally.

2) your priority is not to find scum, but doing something that sounds like a win condition.

there are 4 other witnesses to this; I had to paraphrase you, so leaving asside the "it's not exactly how I said it"; man up and admit those slips.

I can confirm the first one, the 2nd point, no. We do not have the Iron throne in our city, and I wanted it. I don't see how that is scummy as it can only be a good thing for us. My character can't take the Iron Throne, it would be absolutely bizarre if my character could, crasp has pretty much confirmed that I can't.

Unfortunately for myself, I believe you are town now which puts me in a tight spot. I believe the governor role or whatever variety of it that you have, is too powerful for mafia to have

My original vote on crasp was because of inactivity... but now he is more active and I'd lean more town on his posts, so I will unvote

Zivel's jump could be seen as scummy, as could firth's reported posts. Not sure what is so important about the iron throne...

Also could start a case on some of the bandwagoners on crasp, but it's a bit late in the day to do that.

So, my choice is between zivel and firth... at the moment firth has sounded slightly more scummy, so I will [color=#FF0000]vote firth[/color

I'm sorry, he did what now? Where did he say anything about you? It's weird how much it matters to you and then how much it doesn't. It seems to me that there's something you know that we don't here with regard to the Iron Throne, especially considering your vehement denial of having anything to do with it.

I'm going to ##Vote Firth because this strikes me as strange. The Iron Throne is something some people are going to be after (it is what the show revolves around, after all) and you seem to be doing your best to deny that you even want anything to do with it.

FP'd by bunnies: I get what jweid is doing. IT's more of a "vote to make a case" as it were. Seems a little oddly defensive of crasp, though. I'll make a note of it.

It's seems the vote is going to go down to Firth and Crasp. Out of the 2 I'd say Firth is the scummier.
Crasp has claimed, and that can be verified later, other than that he hasn't posted much other than his drunken rant which has been apologised for.
Firth has been more active and maybe that is why he is scummier to me.
Crasp would seem the more valuable if his claim holds true and he can tell who sits on the Iron Throne then this could come in handy (depending on what the Iron Throne does, my suspicion is that it protects someone from lynch.)

Furthering my theory of the Iron Throne's ability it would be why the votes on Betiko didn't count in exchange for not voting. If this is the case then scum is protecting scum?

wow, crasp, I made a bit of a drunk post myself Thursday (although not quite like your's, I was more upset that I had read bunnies post and wouldn't get those 2 minutes back from my life ) so I can understand it to an extent. Then I proceeded to dunk my phone in the toilet which rendered me useless yesterday as my work browser no longer supports the CC site with all these "improvements" to the gameplay - something about Java?

Anyways, I've gone through a wide range of emotions while catching up and there's been a lot to digest. It seemed like crasp was all but done for until the past 2-3 hours. Before the drunken rant, I had been focusing more on firth and I can see it's picking up steam now. Knowing the role name isn't as valuable as the player itself who sits on the Iron Throne though so not as useful as first claimed although verifiable.

@ Crasp - I believe the activiy level and his recent posts are a much better indicator of how he normally plays (from what I've read in other games). The rant did throw me off, because it was so ridiculous. For now, I will give him the benefit of the doubt... I don't know if he should be giving out role information on players...that could back fire depending on who is sitting the throne.

@Firth - I'm not sure what his deal is. I haven't followed to closely on the firth vs. betiko argument. He does seem to be searching for the throne...not sure why, or what he thinks it does.

Zivel is probably next on my list...not sure if I want to vote for a lynch now with so little time left...and I won't be back on before deadline.

These 2 posts don't add up, in the first you are saying that voting crasp is your default, there is no mention of pressure. Only in the second do you mention pressure.
Note that I'm not defending crasp, his ragepost was on about a previous game that I don't know about or what happened in so taken in the context of this game it was over the top.

i love you for saying this, i was thinking it but didnt know how to go about saying, and also thought it might stir the pot. i think that hot has been the scummiest for me and i almost cant explain why which i know his horrible, i think it's a gut feeling mixed with a dislike for anything he has said thus far. at the same time, i really didnt like crasps post, but i can't tell if that's something he would do as mafia, seems like frustrated town?

im almost worried he's fool and wins if he's lynched. cause this seems too easy.

I started the bunnies wagon and it went to a whopping two. Seems I recall a recent mafia game where you did exactly what bunnies did and flipped mafia. "Us Town" "We Town" Do you remember that game Zivel?

What I don't get is people making a big deal about 2 votes and calling it an "easy wagon". Right now it is between Crasp and Firth.

But since Crasp claimed, does he know anything more about the Iron Throne than just who's on it? I mean is knowing who's on it really that big of a deal for us or is there something more to it?

For now, Crasp has claimed, time is really running out. So I'm going to give him some time to use his role. Firth has not claimed even with the pressure building on him and his hunting from the throne seems suspicious. Wondering what it does is one thing.. but wanting it for yourself seems like 3rd party objective at best.

Unvote, Vote Firth. I think everyone will be looking at Crasp tomorrow again when we have more time to figure out what it is he does. But until then I think his claim deserves at least one day off the hook.

Sorry, forgot to respond to legionnare's post, been a busy day for me. I don't see what's in conflict between my posts.. I said I was voting him because he was inactive/scummarizing, and that I was open to changing my vote... to me that is what putting pressure on someone is. Nowhere did I say I thought he was a for sure scum and should hang. He only had 1 other vote on him at the time, I never expected his response or the bandwagon that resulted from that.

That's an accurate read on video mafia. I've almost gotten modkilled for that in each game I've played in thus far on this forum so I've had to adjust my forum game so I can actually play in games.

alright so here's where i'm at, and i feel like a fish out of water at the moment. i didn't like anything hotshot had to say or do today, as i posted above i can't exactly explain it, i might go back and reread just his posts and see if anything jogs my memory as to why i thought he was the best lynch for today.

that being said, i am actually torn between my vote being placed on hotshot and zivel at the moment. zivel said something i really did not like, in regards to bunnies.

I will unvote here, and vote Iron Butterfly. I did not like the way he jumped on the bunnies wagon. And I have a bunnies town read and that makes it appear more scummy. It is not a strong case and not going to save you my vote on you was emotionally driven and I prefer to spend my vote logicallly

you are justifying a lynch on someone because of a 2 person bandwagon, when you yourself jumped on a crasp bandwagon and left out anyone that voted on betiko. not to mention, along with legion, iron is my other top town and i can't see anything (aside from your bandwagon on bunnies theory) that could sway me otherwise. you need better reasons as to why iron is town, imo.
