Dear United States of America, please get over yourself. Once the world envied the freedoms you used to have, the generosity you showed to others starting at home with your own people. The value americans put on education with great policies like the GI bill helped to make America great for a while. Now the land of the free is a tautological slip of the tongue. You don't look after those that shed blood for your country, maybe because they are not fighting for america, they are fighting for oil companies and corporate fat cats. Slavery was abolished, only to be applied to over 80% of the population. Thinly disguised with an airbrushed veneer of self determination. America jumped the shark when the french called America arrogant and the rest of the world agreed. A nation that leads the world in teenage pregnancy, divorce, abortion, obesity, illiteracy, cost of health care(preventable deaths), police brutality, racially motivated governmental violence, the list could go on. A nation leading in the aforementioned categories really has no place lecturing the world on morals, ethics, or anything not directly related to ruining a good thing in the place of 1 1/2 generations.
