So Leeds United lose 2-0 to Millwall, fucking Millwall, in their opening match. Plus to top it off some Italian the new owner brought in gets a red card in his debut for a mid-air two legged tackle. Fucking idiot.

Rough decision. I'd make a horrid keeper, but it got to be less stressful than all the stress of being a mod.

By the way, my co worker plays hockey goal tender in a couple of friendly leagues.

I think in order of pain and strain it's got to be ...

Football, Hockey, and Baseball (catcher).

catcher is the worst for me. I played catcher in little league and my knees still haven't forgiven me.

Real Madrid vs Atletico de Madrid today in the first match of the Spanish Supercup. (winner of the Cup vs winner of the League)

There are two players in the offensive of Atleti that I really like, Griezman and Jimenez. I hope they miss all their chances today though.

Ugh vs. Eh. From a purely partisan standpoint, of course.
I'll pass (though I couldn't watch anyway, being at work and all).

Here's hoping Liverpool get knocked out. Chelsea should get through easily. I wouldn't be surprised if Arsenal and Man City struggle.

Chicharito to Real Madrid

I'm guessing he's going to sell around 1 and 2 million Jerseys between Mexico and USA. How much does Real Madrid makes per Jersey, after taxes? Perhaps 40 dls?

We are talking about perhaps 60 million dollars on profits only from the Jerseys, without all the ads in Mexico and USA. Normally teams get 50% of money in advertising.

And besides, he will give Real Madrid 15 quality minutes at the end of the matches, and probably will make Benzema work a little harder.

Sigh, LUFC are so stupid. An hour before the transfer deadline they tweet saying news coming, don't go to bed. We sell Hunt; good he's overrated and crap. We sell Poleon; why on earth?! He has great potential! Then that was it.. So stupid.

yeah was entertaining. surprising result though, PSG had been absolute shit in french league so far +ibra, thiago silva and lavezzi injured and barcelona had a full team and didn't receive a goal in the season yet.
great game by marquinhos, motta and pastore.

Double standards:

What do you think about Guardiola's behaviour towards the Female ref?

I see how you could say it's a case of double standard, but, the way he first approaches to her is the way a man would approach a woman, and then he changes it to being an asshole. So you could see how it's unfair to her, and the second time he approaches her and wants to put his arm around her she quickly moves away.

I think Guardiola should be punished, at least 1 match.

btw, isn't this the same ref that was touched on the chest by a player?

bundesliga last weekend. The name of the referee is Steinhaus. I tried to look for a video in youtube but the three I saw didn't show the first part when Guardiola approaches her calmly putting his hand on her lower back.
