The Ladder has always been for the players, so ETG created a voting poll so we could find out what the players wanted. You can find that poll here: http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=341&t=206937

Based on the voting results, the entire Ladder will be reset once your match is complete...but with a twist to be announced once the Ladder is reset.

I think the twist is the top 3 go straight to the bottom and re-work their way up, but they receive medals for being such good sports about it

The SoC 1v1 Ladder has been reset!

I have used Random.org to randomly generate everyone's new starting position....but don't fret if you see yourself way down on the bottom...

Here comes Twist #1...

For those players who had a match in progress from the old Ladder...your match is still going on. To take away the confusion, I have adjusted the "Challenging / Challenged By" fields to compensate. (Rule #9)

For example...Tamaynet originally challenged General_Roy. Since General_Roy is now at a lower rung, he is now challenging tamayent.

Here comes Twist #2:

For everyone else...I am using Random.org one more time to choose your next opponent. Beat your opponent, you move up to their spot....and they move down one rung. (Rule #9).

You will notice that with Twist #2, it is possible for you to be challenging a lower ranked player. If you win, you move up THREE rungs...if they win...they move up ONE rung.

For example: dhallmeyer (#11) is challenging Vinyl-Taliban (#18). If dhallmeyer wins, he moves up to #8. If Vinyl-Taliban wins, he moves up to #17.

Rule #15 is waived until Twist #1 and Twist #2 are complete or until September 15 @ 0001 EST...whichever comes first.

DIBS is closed until Twist #1 and Twist #2 are complete or until September 15 @ 0001 EST...whichever comes first.

The CHALLENGER needs to create ONE GAME with the following settings please:

Random - automatic - seq - esc - chained - sunny - no trench - 24 hour - no round limit

Just like before...PLEASE post the match results.

Please note...Ladder positions will be bouncing back and forth as the Twists are completed. I will be checking more than once a day to keep the Ladder updated. As matches finish, I'll update the results.

NO NEW CHALLENGES CAN BE ISSUED UNTIL AFTER THE TWISTS ARE COMPLETED!

The black boxes on the Ladder are for me to keep track of Twist #1 and Twist #2. These boxes will go back to normal once the Twists are completed.

I will be sending out a PM to everyone with this announcement.

i didn't know they let Tamay change his name to 14739123.... I'll have to update my friend list

If 2 player fog game,please allow 12 hour snap courtesy, or post what I could have seen.... Thank you

i've posted my 1v1 games to the Missionary; will use Kings court trench chain fog for the battleground though lately i've been liking Gallipoli a lot
I wish either my father or my mother, or indeed both of them as they were in duty both equally bound to it, had minded what they were about when....

This would be an invalid challenge. ALL Twist #2 games must be: Random - auto - seq - esc - chained - sunny - no trench.

Yes...all Twist #2 challenges are one game...please see above for settings.

Did you see my response to Chris from earlier? When I was using Random.org and your number came up, I had to double check myself (it was quite late). Someone must want you to stay in Ladder.

Now, if you happen to lose...you can't quit. You have to fight for it...LOL

Automatic Troops
Sequential Play Order
Escalating Spoils
Chained Reinforcements
Sunny (No Fog of War)
No Trench
No Round Limit
24 hour Round Length

1 (one) GAME ONLY
