newbie faq sub forum

FAQ sub forum

FAQ sub forum.

just a sub forum where newbies can ask question and mods(and members of the community) can answer them

I know sub forums is on the to do list, but I am suggesting a sub forum where newbies, or even experienced people, can ask questions. When a new person asks a question in general discussion quite a few people will make remarks that do not help.

This way the community can still help but the new people will get a much more friendly and professional answer.

I like this idea, it encourages people to come back.

not a good idea. a far better idea would be to stop all of the arsey answers newbs get, we do NOT want to segregate the forums by standard it wopuld only work to encourage people to feel inferior and left out and so will not stay with the site.

also how do you decide when you are no longer a newb? as most people that post are already privates are they still newbs?

Alex, I think it would just be called the "FAQ Forum: Ask all your CC related questions here."

It could work Hector.. but the integrity of the forum would be governed by all those who post... you know as well as I... somebody would undermine it

how would that stop all the smug responses? this would be completely unnecasery if people were able to be polite and point the answer out clearly (as most questions are simple enough for those who have been on the site for a while) then most new threads would be answered in one post and that would be the end of it.

Which is why the mods would enforce a rule stating that no smug responses are to be said in that forum.

the point of this sub forum, is that people get annoyedd when they read questions, especially if they are stupid. But since they don't have to go there and read it, the newbies will get a proper response.
