Agree with the ashamed part for unpleasant, rude behavior. But, Ronc is right about the bigotry.

CC declared "fag/faggot" as presumed bigotry or hate speech that will never be tolerated despite veiled attempts to say it is a reference to a cigarette or is accepted in someone's culture as a permissible, non-homophobic insult. People can call Ronc what they want in turn, so long as it is within the bigotry guidelines, foe and move on. But Ronc right in that "fag" has been declared off limits.
