We had two Madagascar go to the round limit. As stated in the thread for the tournament rules, if someone wins on a round limit, no one advances. This is to encourage risk taking.
Most of you are reporting either victory or loss. As stated in the thread, I first put the people who notify me into the queue, in the order that the pms come in. (They are automatically sorted.)
Next every few days, as I have time, or if I need someone to fill out a game, I determine who is not playing. I put all of those names in random.org and then in the queue.
Just for future reference, the thread states that the winner will be the first to win three on Archipelago, who notifies me that they have done so. If you win three and then someone else wins three and they notify me first, they will win the tournament. (Because that's the way it was set up and I need to follow the rules in the thread.)
You will not overload me on pms nor will they get lost. They are automatically sorted to a special mail box. As long as the word Island is in the title someplace, it will sort to this mailbox.
Hey mate, sent you a PM, I won my Greenland game and now on Madagascar with a player was on Greenland and didn't win??? (JELO)...same scenario with Fuzzy316...

Yes you are. Because the player you are referring to had won an earlier Greenland. And through my mistake ended up playing two more Greenlands before I caught the error. In my defense, he never said anything, like hey I already won this map.
So I appreciate your keeping an eye on me. I never thought that doing something like this, where no one gets eliminated just not promoted would end up as confusing to keep straight as it has been. My tracking methods are getting better but it still helps a lot if people point out anything that seems wrong to them.
Hey, if they don't speak up, maybe they should be stuck in the eternal hell of playing the same map over and over. Saves you having to do so much work.
We are all still escaping from the islands. Except for those poor souls who have drowned.
Our leader is on the final island but has no one to play with.
Our trailer, me, is still on the third island, but I am gaining steam. I am. I am.
Just a reminder once again. You may as well take a chance and go for the win. A round limit win advances no one. We had another game end on the round limit and I reentered everyone on the rotation but no one gets credit for a win.(CC will of course score that as a win but for the tournament it is a draw.)
We finally have four people on the final island and games have commenced there. Can Stuboy do it again? He has won every game he has been in and has been first off of each island.
Please remember that the winner is the first to notify me by pm that they have won three. No complicated tie breakers. I look at the order the pms are received, if yours is first and you have won three, you win.
And yes that does mean, that someone could win three before someone else and if they don't post and someone else does, they would lose out..
And everyone who is still playing, remember, they have to win 3. There is still time to catch them.
The settings for these games hasn't been very consistent. I've had a mixture of flat rate with fog or default. Currently, I've played about three games on Malta or flat rate foggy, and now I'm playing it with the default settings. It doesn't really make for fair competition.
Several people got posted to the wrong island in their last games. If you win on that island I will give you a credit towards the island you are actually on.
Apologies to everyone for getting a little behind. Real Life, (my wife's cancer), jumped in big time and things had to slide. Hopefully all back up to speed now that she is doing a little better. Things are still touch and go but having lived with Stage 4 for a year now and she is still alive, we are getting, if one can, used to it.

Sorry to hear about your wife.
My wife is in poor health also, but not like that. You must be having a hell of a time.

Catching up again. Once again RL has been busy. Sorry for the confusion folks. And thanks to the people who keep me straight on the games. Yes, my mind has been elsewhere.
