UNIQUE TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE

I am only looking for 8 teams.
This Tournament will be completed in two flights (stages).
There won't be a 12 Hour Fog Courtesy rule due to the use of Home Maps, but please be respectful in this regard.
Playoff matches consist of 5 games played at once, so you must be Premium to play, sorry.

Please indicate both of your Home Maps when you sign up.

Spoiler
Players intentionally missing an invite and accepting the 2nd invite, while the other team is a 'sitting duck' , and then not providing the other team an opportunity to see the map is unacceptable in any of my tournaments.
Many are unaware of what happens when a player misses an invite. Everyone else stays 'invited' and I just re-invite the player who missed. Many don't even realize that their opponent or teammate, missed his invite. The problem is that this player now has the exclusive opportunity to accept his new invite and then immediately take his first turn; should he happen to play first. This would most undoubtedly, make it extremely difficult if not impossible for their opponents to ever get a chance to see the opening map. That has to be construed as an advantage.
RULE (because without them we no longer have a friendly game)
I'm not imposing a penalty to a team in a friendly tournament, when someone innocently misses an invite or even two for that matter. Be clear though, there will be no advantage gained by missing said invite, whether it be innocent or otherwise.
It is incumbent on the team missing the invite, that if you play first, you must do one of the following:
A - Wait until your opponent gives you the "all clear".
B - Make no successful attacks on the enemy in your opening turn.
C - Provide your opponent with the information they could and would have seen if they viewed the original map. This is NOT limited to indicating what you attacked and where you attacked from. Your opponent needs to know what could be seen prior to the attack being made, i.e. "Prior to my turn you could see that Edmonton was Neutral and Ontario was Blue".
PENALTY - The affected games will be forfeited.
ERRORS AND OMISSIONS
If it is determined after the fog lifts that a player erred in relaying the necessary information AND this error results in an advantage being received by the offending team, the affected games will be forfeited.
NOTE: My intent isn't to be strict or to punish for honest mistakes but rather to ensure that no player receives any additional advantage when he starts the game first. I also want to remove any incentive for players to stall the acceptance of their invites. Any grey area here and I will be ruling in favor of offering a remedy any time an advantage is gained.
FLIGHT 1 (Details)
Spoiler
During Flight 1, teams are awarded points for Match Wins, Match Ties and for each Game Win. Those points are tallied to provide a score for each team. Teams are then ranked by these scores and all subsequent matches in Flight 1 are determined under the Swiss System, by these scores. See Wiki for a detailed explanation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swiss-system_tournament.
Match Win = 5.5 Points
Match Tie = 4.5 Points
Game Win = 0.5 Points
A schedule of matches will be provided in a spoiler below and if you scroll down there will be a table of team scores at the bottom.
This preliminary round is designed to reward you for simply winning your home maps and for NOT losing your match.
NOTE: You do not need to win your match to receive points for Game Wins.
Spoiler
1 - Match wins versus tied opponents (head to head).
2 - Buchholz System - This is a complex system that was created for the purpose of settling ties in Swiss Tournaments. See link below.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buchholz_system
3 - Points Difference
IMPORTANT NOTE: - No team can be eliminated from the competition using this tie-breaking format. If there is a tie for 4th place, a tie-breaker match or matches will be played.
Spoiler
Team 1 and 2 play each other, with the winner advancing to the Final Match and the loser advancing to the Semi-Final Match.
Team 3 and 4 play each other, with the winner advancing to the Semi-Final Match (against the loser of the 1-2 game), while the loser is eliminated.
Then the Semi-Final is played, with the winner advancing to the Final.
