You have to love CC. Either Conquer Club or Canadian Club, take your pick. It makes all things bearable.

It's 10:30 in the morning and I'm already drunk. Nice.

After fifteen hours at work, nothing says, "Welcome home, master!" quite like...

Dark Rum Appreciation Thread

Post by 2dimes »

I bought a bottle of Meyers's. Don't knew why it's not available in Canada. Funny, I really love the stuff but it's pretty nasty without mix. Once it hits mango juice, YUMMO!

If so, how much?
Do you have any pictures of her?
Can you please advise her measurements?
How much does she talk in the run of a given day?

She talks too much. Doesn't every woman?

Other questions will be ignored on the advice of my lawyer...:)

Now post a picture of a bottle or get out of this thread!

Today, class, we are drinking Canadian Club Classic 12. Better than fellatio.

Here's what some famous people have said about Canadian Club Classic 12:

Shakespeare:
O wonder!
How many goodly whiskeys are there here!
How beauteous CC is! O brave new world
That has such whiskey in't!

Sophocles:
Much rye is one thing, well-aged rye is another.

Kahlil Gibran:
The lights of stars that were extinguished ages ago still reaches us. So it is with great whiskey that were distilled 12 years ago, but still reach us with the radiations of their aromas.

Virginia Woolf:
"What an admirable whisky this is," he [Orlando] thought, stretching his limbs out under the oak tree. "And why not enjoy it this very moment?"

Soren Kierkegaard
Love of CC is the highest passion in a human being. Many in every generation may not come that far, but none comes further.

I have to admit I've never given Canadian Club the credit it deserves. It tends to last longer than the other bottles on the shelf and I'm not quite sure why. (Well longer than the other bottles I've opened. Sometimes an unopened bottle will last for a long time because I have forgotten I had it in the first place and I don't have the reason to open it in the first place.)

Unfortunately, I'm currently working on my ulcer and giving up tings for lent, but hopefully both will be solved and I'll pour that Canadian Club once again.

God awful.
If you havent tried this or crown royals maple save yourself the trouble and the inevitable sugar hangover.
So so sweet its reminiscent of soda.
Although i guess some people want their booze to taste like candy, but i believe whiskey should not be tainted with sugary garbage be it mixer or "flavoring".
Hell i dont even bother with ice as it just takes away from the natural flavor.

I have a bottle of the maple crown. It's ok. It's sweet, so I don't drink much of it. Basically, blended whisky is what it is; ok. Even the best are just decent. Single malts are where it's at.

Bollocks.

I didn't mind it either in small amounts, otherwise sickening, but that's the sugar, not the booze.

Nah, it's whisky for people who haven't tried Scotch, whiskey, or bourbon. It"s at its best diluted with American soft drinks.
