That's about the most sensible thing I've heard you say all year JN, just look at Tesco. However, I agree with Robespierre, the last week has been very light on C&A activity. Of course everyone may well have been already busted????owenshooter wrote:not about the time of year... when you go from almost 30K members to 10K members, you feel the effects... furthermore, when a prior administration waged an open war with forum users, banning people for life for made up infractions, a huge blow was dealt to the community... some of those involved in the killing/sanitizing of the forums still run around blaming the decline/demise of the forums on people using other things like facebook and twitter and instagram... i maintain that if you treat your customers like shit, they will go away... the black jesus has spoken..-Jésus noirRobespierre__ wrote:The Western world kind of shuts down this time of year ...ronc8649 wrote:it is more of a suspicious lack of anyone in the forums. this place is dead comparatively speaking.
p.s.-there is a cool case in C&A right now... about to be a big multi bust...
Sure, but why do we need to burden the C&A volunteers at all? Crowdsource the work by empowering us with ban buttons, and we'll do the investigations and carry out the sentences by ourselves.iAmCaffeine wrote:It's not weak. Both the C&A volunteers/multi hunters and those reporting cheats are trying to improve the playing experience and fairness of the game, therefore they should both make an effort to work together. The form is hardly difficult to understand.Metsfanmax wrote:We're talking about site rules violations here. Presumably the site wants to know if someone is breaking the rules, it's not just an issue of someone being mad at someone else for a personal disagreement. So this argument is fairly weak.Dukasaur wrote:The point is that you're requesting someone, an unpaid volunteer who owes you nothing, to do some work and investigate something on your behalf. If you don't respect their time enough to do the preparatory work and have the game numbers properly linked, etc., why should they bother?Uncle Death wrote:Why such a big deal about using some silly form to report abuse or cheating? Wouldn't just listing the game, the player, and the complaint be adequate? It just seems an exercise in OCD to do it in the way asked. If it's really necessary than why not have a tab to make a complaint if it's that important, like Wufoo?
Then it ended anti-climactically. Boooo!Dukasaur wrote:Looks like the dry spell has ended.
