Congratulations to the Winner - lt.pie
A 1 v 1, 16-player tournament.
Each round is a 4-player group stage (players play their 3 opponents twice - 6 games each per stage in total). The top two players from each group progress. In the case of players having equal number of wins then there will be a one-off tie-break to determine who progresses (except in the final where there will be a 3-game play-offs). If more than 2 players have equal number of wins then all concerned players will play each other (if this does not produce a winner then the player with most number of troops at the end of games will progress, except in the final where all players will continue to play tie-breaks until there is a winner).
Match Options
[spoiler]Each match will be Automatic, Sequential, Escalating Spoils, Chained Reinforcements, No Fog of War. No Trench & 20 Round Limit.
The map is Promontory Summit.[/spoiler]
Players
[spoiler]There will be 16 players.
Players must have a 97% attendance record, have played a minimum 25 matches, and not have dropped out from one of my tournaments previously! Premium required.
Players will have 24 hours to join their matches from when the joining PM is sent. Failure to do so will result in a reserve being sought (harsh, I know).
Winners of each match should PM the Tournament Organiser.[/spoiler]
Reserves
[spoiler]After the First Round, reserve PMs will initially be sent to the player(s) eliminated in the previous round. If none of these players respond within 24 hours, then all players eliminated will be sent a PM. When a PM is sent, the first reserve to respond will gain a place.
For the first round, reserves will be drawn from the reserve list.[/spoiler]
Joining Matches
[spoiler]Players will be sent an invite when they have a match and will have 24 hours to join. If they fail to do so then they will be ejected from the tournament and a reserve will replace them.[/spoiler]
