I didn't mind Cheech Marin's hot sauce. Frank's is good, made into extra-buttery buffalo. Hot BBQ sauce in general.

Nice mild flavor enchancer.
I use it in when things need a boost in salt content or a just a bit of zing.

Not a bad choice, I do carry a bottle of that as well.

But also let me recommend this little recipe for you.

Make yourself a smoked turkey with Swiss on rye sandwich...lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and maybe some mayo. Then put a good dash of this stuff on that turkey sandwich! You won't be sorry! It pairs well.

I make my own, with bhut jolokia (ghost peppers), cilantro, onion, garlic, lime, and Roma tomatoes. My son-in-laws family still doesn't understand how an ol' gray bearded gringo can eat salsa that sets their butts on fire.

I made one batch with those damn peppers you send me B-Dawggy....damn near killed me

The rest are still in the freezer....trying to decide what evil I can do with them  Habaneros are plenty hot for me; pickled a bunch of Fireball Cherry Peppers too...damn tasty.

Back to sauce....

Ahh tapatio.
The chicanos around here will put about 1/4 a bottle into a snack size bag of flamin hot cheetos.
Pretty good actually although not the most beautiful snack in the world.

i'm a huge fan of hot sauces. I love extra spicy food... Actually the other day, I was thinking about starting a collection of all type of hot sauces from around the world.
i already use like 6-7 different hot sauces depending on what I'm cooking.

I will take notes. Keep proposing brands!

ps: the hottest shit I've tried so far are chilean sauces, I guess the country's name isn't undeserved.

I bought a bottle of this a few weeks ago. (the ghost pepper version).

One small drop does the trick.

The label clearly states DO NOT EAT THIS IF YOU HAVE A HEART CONDITION.

I have put a tiny bit on a cracker and bet friends they can't eat it. They always do, but it's worth it to watch their expressions. It is deadly.

My wife accidentally put a small amount in a large pot of spaghetti sauce. We had to throw all the sauce away, we couldn't get a pot big enough to dilute it.

sounds interesting.

By the way has this ever happened to you?
Ok, so basically you're cooking and you are manupulating really hot chili peppers. You suddenly have a big pee urge; you rush to the toilet, and then, huge mistake, you manipulate your precious instrument with your unwashed bare hands. 1 hour of suffering guaranteed!

prank idea: get the male person cooking chili stuff to drink as much beer as you can

Ooh thank you. I'll have to try that. Habanero hot sauce doesn't even faze me any more and I can't find anything locally that does the trick.

sounds disgusting. good hot sauce needs a balance of heat and flavour. what's the point of it if it's basically too hot to consume?

You are half gringo white boy.
When I grew up in india i could out-spicy food any indian kid.
I do drink my hot sauces from the bottle all the time, and a hot sauce bottle never lasts very long. I need my dosis of spice and lemon.

Nevertheless, i do believe notyou2, i m sure his sauce would kill me. Have you tried the hottest chilean sauces? The cousin of one of my best friend is married to a chilean girl.. Fucking hell, hottest food ever. I couldn t add enough white rice to stop crying while i was eating her chicken.
