I already said I don't have any mega strong reads on anyone else. I will read through again if I get time. That is unlikely though as I work long hours and weekends I am busy spending time with the kids. I will try though.

I have trouble thinking mtam's play is scummy. He puts himself out there a lot. The only way I can make his play scummy is that mafia were told that Harry Potter is a valid fakeclaim and mtam decided he could use it to bully his way through the game. I've read most of 33 pages, and most of it can be reduced to, "I'm smart and awesome. You're terrible and an idiot. You should play the same way I do." That and mix-ups because sarcasm and jokes are missing the mark. Frankly, if I wan't to listen to people bitch and moan and whine about how the world is coming to an end because of some inane thing someone else is doing, I'd sooner watch Fox News.

I understand the whole point of mafia can be to get into heated arguments sometimes because we know some people are lying, but to me it's a lot less fun when people aggressively call out other players by telling them they are bad at the game and by extension, stupid.

BG staying on mtam feels weird to me. He's either doing it to prove a point that he can't be bullied off his position that he didn't like the softclaim. Has mtam been 100% consistent? He left softclaim open to a wide interpretation, which seems a little scummy. But what happened followed next, to me, feels like a cop claiming with no counterclaim. Should to real cop stay hidden and let the fakeclaimer keep going? It depends on the setup. If I could counterclaim mtam, I would, if for no other reason than to shut him up and no one has so.... BG is either being stubborn because he didn't like someone else's play or else he's sticking to his guns to to seem more town, hoping it proves that he's willing to put himself out there.

My other thought is that the discussion has gotten so derailed that I'm pretty fine holding fire to an inactive at this point. It may seem like a jerk move, but RL can be used to cover. "I haven't had time to catch up... RL." It might be partly true, but it also helps you to skate in D2 at which point you can get a story straight with your scummy friends. So I still have an inkling that pershy is worth a pressure. But I'm willing to hear about possible transgressions of other low end contributors. I may have picked a target only to be fixated on it.

I am sorry I haven't said much, but what is to say when all we had for most of the last 10-15 pages is bickering between people about mtams play. I feel like a lot of people have let their emotions get envolved with this game, and taken them as personal attacks.

I also feel like I had explained my vote well enough for the mtam case, and to be honest not wanting to dive into the bickering at end up having things become personal attacks against my own logic because people were upset. I thought mtam was playing poorly early, but now that his role is revealed I actually understand his gameplay.

To me this is a pretty big scum tell, it makes you look like you are involved because when people are looking back through the thread your name comes up often, and people pass by to continue the search for a specific post. But when your posts are basically purely sarcasm it doesn't help any case.

Another note: why I am never active when everyone else seems to be is because it is between 2-5 AM where I am, so I always get the tail end of the days conversation.

You disagree with me, fine. But prove to me that you DID contribute to the wagons. I don't see it. This is probably one of the biggest pillars of my vote on you.
It's also puzzeling you don't have other reads this game, as there is a LOT of stuff to base your feelings on.

I see the points made about mudpuppy, pixar, Pershy, and dd (if no one has, someone should). Although I'd not include Pix because to me it seems that he's trying. I'm quite sure that most in here will feel that he's doing it wrongly, but the young lad is trying. I don't see him as scummy. I think DD and perhaps Pershy are the most noteworthy of the least active (I haven't included floyd because I find his few posts reasonable). DD, on the other hand, nagged at people for not adding to the game and then hasn't added shit since himself.

I don't agree with the case on dazza. As I see it, dazza goes about mafia the way he always does which might be minimalistic, but it's not fair to say that he hasn't given reads.

Aage and Got seem town based on their play. Mtam seems town based on his claim. Semp too. Storr still seems scummy to me he could be what he claims but I would lynch him, nobody agrees as I said so I have moved on as I said.

Everyone else I don't have a strong enough read one way or the other to make it worth saying.

The bit mtam posted about Voldemort not being vulnerable to night actions while Harry lives is what makes me believe his claim - no one who doesn't know HP would know that, and even people who know HP wouldn't think of it right away (I sure didn't).

I still don't like mtam's play, but I realize it's more about his attitude for me than anything else.

I would be much happier with a lynch on Dega for reasons stated before the Mtam shitstorm, on Charm for voting Mudpuppy for bad reasons, on Pixar for voting incredibadly or on Ragian for defending Pixar. I will look more into this tomorrow when I have more time, I will sleep easier knowing Mtam doesn't have the most votes on him.

Skimming the case was due to checking quickly in the morning before work. I should have just left it till night. I felt i needed to try to participate more but clearly it was a bad move.

I don't know what to say about anything else. I have answered it all. I said i will try another read through and give reads on everyone.
