I don't generally push someone with a vote for their claim. Or lynch. I push for information, I push for discussion.

Because I try to figure out someone's alignment before the claim. I don't like to relying on claim for the be all end all reason for a lynch. Specially in this kind of game, we will have lots of vt claims.

This is true. I have used my vote to try to get reactions out of people before (in a c-9 I was in). I hadn't thought of it that way. However I do think your unvote is perculiar. You think black is town, then? Doesn't matter right now id just like to know.

Mtamb I did believe what I wrote, but I didn't think of pressure/getting reactions. However the lack of a response from black would indicate one of the two options I stated in my post, wouldn't it?

I don't like this. Black needs to talk. I want him lynched if he doesn't come forward with something. He hasn't contributed anything nor has he tried to convince us if anything. Don't know who the partner would be. Don't care to speculate until tomorrow if we lynch him and he flips scum.

I don't have any evidence that I can pull out of thin air to prove anything.
And it's doubtful any of you would care or be able to read or believe me. (You just want to move forward)
I'm generic nothing a vanilla townie. No special powers I make claims to. No wonderous or interesting skills or above average role.

To be honest I'm not even sure what evidence of my guilt is being presented against me.
I've made my claims and I've stuck to my guns. I've stated opinions openly and not changed them
I've tried to have more of a team effort focus.( Though apparently I'm playing the game wrong...)
The only thing I can remotely think of is no one, as somebody (I don't care who at this point) pointed out has tried to make a defence for me. Which when everyone has made some sort of suggestion to have me killed that's prolly the only anomaly I've got going for me

Blackmetal, you should never (as storr said) take anything in this game personally. I am sure you are a lovely person and meant no harm with not posting as much as some of us would like. It's just that many of us have played the game a few times now and are used to looking for the same things (such as laying low) when we try to decide who the mafia (scum) are.

If you are called "scum" in game, it doesn't mean we hate you. To the contrary, we LOVE when new people try mafia out! Scum is just a different way to say mafia. Everyone has to play mafia sometimes. Personally I think it's more fun to play as mafia because it's more thrilling to try to avoid being lynched! But if we all come hard on you because you aren't posting as much as many of us or because something you said seemed like something someone with something to hide (like being mafia) would say, don't take it as a personal insult. We don't mean your post was bad generally; it was quite good. It just wasn't related to mafia (the one you made that everyone called strange).

If anything, we are all calling mtamb annoying, not you .

Storr is playing less aggressive than im used to which is enough for me to wonder D1.
Blackmetal is in the same catergory as mitch for me. Both of their posts dont really say anything that leads anywhere,not giving much for reads, just sorta rambling on about random shit and not really understanding the setup.Either I could go for either BM/MM as a backup lynch just because im unsure about both and not getting much from them.

Mtamb's reasoning was odd and I didn't follow it at all. You agreeing with him seems to be more like butt kissing than anything, trying to gain town cred perhaps.

You then go on to vote, stating that "there, now everyone is at L-2 and I don't get any blood on my hands by making a decision for myself". You waffle and make someone else do your dirty work. Could be that you really thought wing was scummy but I think it was more kissing Mtamb's butt.

At the end of your post you state that you feel mtamb is town. While I'm sure he would agree with you there , I think your reasoning is flawed. There are about 4/5 of us asking a lot of questions, including wing whom you voted.

Based on all reasons above, I believe you are a better lynch than blackmetal. I am on the fence about BM right now, but I think you are a little scummier and he had enough to give me reasonable doubt in my case against him. unvote, vote endgame

I just wanted to get my two cents in. By no means am I a veteran of this game - having played all of 3 games of it, and this being my first time modding - but in my opinion, this is the kind of game where you need to have a bit of thick skin. It's a game for people who like to argue - who like to figure each other out, attack each other's points and logic using words and wit - and who like to laugh it all off when it's over. It's a game with dirty tricks, and people may hit below the belt with their words to get a reaction, to hide what they're thinking, and so on. The important thing to remember is that they aren't doing it because they don't like you, or because you're not a good person, but because it's what they're expecting from the game, and they are expecting you to be doing the same to them.

Playing on a forum is different than playing in person, because you don't get a person's vocal inflictions, body language, and the like to gauge when they are being personally spiteful and when they are playing the game. On the other hand, it has the benefit of being a medium in which you can assume that all attacks against you are part of the game because there is no infliction to suggest otherwise. From what I've seen, games usually remain active even after one side or the other has won, so that players can chat about the game without pretense, congratulate each other for good plays, and veterans can explain their plays to beginners, kind of like an after-party.

I set having fun as a rule for this game because I think that everyone who signs up is coming with the expectation of being challenged and entertained. If you start to feel that people are genuinely attacking you as a person instead of playing the game, just look at that rule and remember that they're only doing it in good faith and good cheer, and will likely have a completely different take on you at the end of the game.

My deal with wing seems always the same.
Last game(IBs C9) i was sooo close to lynching him instead of the actual scum,even though he was town his play made me suspect him heavily from early on.
Im suspicious of him here because of his response to mtams accusation. Shutting down and saying he isnt going to talk to mtam cuz mtams a jerk/voting mtam for being a jerk just does not seem towny to me.
My " necessary" post discussed this a bit.
As far as black im not sure his last post is enough to convince me he is town.
I understand where he is coming from, but his posts are just overall strange(why i put him as #2 scummiest)
Mitch...he admits to an OMGUS vote on black(@L-2) for merely suggesting mitch is the 2nd scum player.
If most players said this I would want them lynched but i kinda believe mitchs "good enough for me" explanation.

For everyone else, I will vote for either Mtam or End depending upon how others vote. With less than 24hours to go I think it is unlikely anything will make me change my mind on this. Hotshot is my only slight doubt as he has written one of his lists yet, and doesnt seem his usual townie appearing scum self.
