i had half that once back when my organs were capable of withstanding that level of punishment (around 750ml vodka with no sodding mixer) and i was pigging hungover for about 3 days, though it felt like a week. i didn't touch a drop for a couple months after. how do you even drink 56 shots?

can anyone improve on that?

I find speed drinking to be a great way to drink, there is something pretty awesome about the "instant drunk". However it is pretty risky.

In an ideal world we would all have perfect knowledge with which to make perfect decisions. But we don't live in an idealized world, so we do need some protection (within reason) from our own ignorance/stupidity/hormonal instinct.

Most of my worst drinking experiences have been a result of extended sessions interacting with a some latent depression/anxiety, rather than the uber binge and subsequent stomach pump or similar. I have taken a few of my friend to emergency with minor poisoning though (all in my teenage years of course).
