same home country and same length of time on site, complete failure to act in any way against each other's interests in this game, no messages to make a truce, and one account clearly subservient to the higher rated "brother". Shenanigans!

Ok fixed the links and one of the player's name. Another item to add to the list is that they also have nine games together of which gy has won six.
looking at their plays, ec02 is another player that seems clustered with them, also from Hong Kong. Might be worth looking into with ip's and all. They could all just be friends who get together after school or something.
Obviously same person/collusion. A quick look through their games, out of 20-25 games, 75% include both players and im01 never seems to win even when he is dominating the map. When it is down to the 2 players, the game is given to gy. Note to wannabe cheaters, try not to make it so obvious.
ZornSlayer wrote:check out this game [game]15662412[/game]. Every time the trio play (gy ec02 im01) they each come on and play within seconds of each other.
There has to be other evidence than playing within seconds of each other. People who live in the same house or visit each other in person would play within seconds of each other. While there seems to be other evidence as indicated above, I just wanted to point out that while "play[ing] within seconds of each other" is good reason to look into it, this doesn't prove foul-play and doesn't add to the case if it's already being investigated.
By 2:28 AM im01 was playing their first game, a Freestyle game against Gy.
Here is the link to the freestyle game: [game]15422372[game]
This is a freestyle game, mind you. But in this freestlye game every single turn between gy and im01 takes place in sequence. one plays all the way and closes their turn and then the next begins to play their turn and closes.
ec02 joined April 29, at 4:12 AM By the next day April 30 ec02 is playing in a game with both Gy and im01, and tends to stick with them after that.
Here is a link to that game with all 3: [game]15584675[/game] Observe in the log how they interact on the few times they do attack each other. im01 goes for Europe. Gy goes for Africa. It is only after all the other players are eliminated that they go after each other.

If this were 5 years ago, I'd basically agree with you. I might give you one more chance after being caught to buy back in, but after that, you're just banned for good. However, with the way this site is hemorrhaging customers, it would be very bad business to turn away patrons who are willing to keep chucking money at them. In other words, this site is so desperate for paying customers that even the cheaters are attractive at this point, in an effort to boost membership. As long as they keep paying, ownership will continue to let them return.
Well, that's probably why a lot of folks up and quit, because the cheating and repeat cheating makes it worthless and without meaning. and the "old boy" infighters who keep slamming the site about it 'going downhill' and acting like its their own private club. But that's a topic for another thread, and I do actually have a life away from the computer.
Yeah. It sucks that permaban of cheats has become non-viable. Perhaps the premium account which is allowed to remain should have all points & medals stripped at the least.
This is more than a case of being a multi to play more games. In this case the player made multi accounts in order to gang up and cheat on other players. Do secret diplomacy people also get to keep playing if they pay money?
