My big contribution for the town:

Harry Potter's Butterbeer

Ingredients
1 cup light or dark brown sugar
2 tablespoons water
6 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cider vinegar
3/4 cup heavy cream, divided
1/2 teaspoon rum extract
4 12 ounce bottles cream soda

Directions
In a small saucepan over medium, combine the brown sugar and water. Bring to a gentle boil and cook, stirring often, until the mixture reads 240ºF on a candy thermometer.
Stir in the butter, salt, vinegar and 1/4 of the heavy cream. Set aside to cool to room temperature.
Once the mixture has cooled, stir in the rum extract.
In a medium bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of the brown sugar mixture and the remaining 1/2 cup of heavy cream. Use an electric mixer to beat until just thickened, but not completely whipped, about 2 to 3 minutes.
To serve, divide the brown sugar mixture between 4 tall glasses (about 1/4 cup for each glass). Add 1/4 cup of cream soda to each glass, then stir to combine. Fill each glass nearly to the top with additional cream soda, then spoon the whipped topping over each.

Claim: Proffessor Trelawney-Wanded Death seer (person she visited has alignment revealed on death).
Read: Neutral. I actually find the claim somewhat believable but after a quick skim reread, I have renoted him as something of a bandwagoner.

Is this really dazza's claim? Doesn't this happen anyway?

It shows someone elses alignment. Whoever he cast his spell on,on the previous night.
It makes sense flavor wise for that to be her power but it means scum will never kill him.

Does it now? And how do you know this? I don't remember that ever being said. Also why wouldn't scum kill him? It's a public spy result if what you're saying is accurate.

This means hes just a VT by day but IF hes killed he will either clear/damn one other player. Hence he is a smaller threat to scum as long as hes alive.

Re: [Official] HP Mafia - 14/24 - N5: Butter beer, anyone?

Post by Epitaph1 »

Hogwarts knew they had to get this one right. Too many good wizards were buried in Hagrid's garden and the paranoia of who might be next was getting to everyone.

"If we don't do something soon, we're goners," someone yelled.

"Ahem."

"We should all state our names, just so we know who's here," another person shouted.

"Ahem."

"Who keeps saying 'Ahem'?"

Everyone looked over at the professor in pink. She replied, "Um, would anyone like a chocolate frog? I'm the Trolly Witch from the Hogwart's Express."

"Wait a second," someone remarked, "why'd the Trolley Witch get off the train?"

"Ahem. . .uh, I don't know. Anyone fancy a butter beer? I have a GREAT recipe!"

People were thirsty alright, but the only thing that could quench their thirst was justice.

charm - Dolores Umbridge - Death Eater - has been lynched.
It is N5. 72 hours to submit your actions. . . ah, who am I kidding, I'm not going to get this at 8:30 am on Sunday. Make it 1pm Sunday Eastern for the deadline.

Re: [Official] HP Mafia - 13/24 - D6: The Boy Who Lived

Post by Epitaph1 »

It was automatic by this point. Routine. Everyone woke up the next morning and combed the school for the next body.

It didn't take too long to find it, but it was still the most shocking and heartbreaking loss of them all.

Harry Potter was the chosen one, the boy who lived. The lightning bolt scar on his forehead and trademark spectacles had been a beacon of light during these dark times and a symbol of hope for everyone.

At least in death, he looked peaceful.
Image

mtamburini - Harry Potter - Town Disarmer - has been killed.
Sorry for the delay. It is now D6, with 13 alive, it takes 7 to lynch.

Hmm when town recieved a town wand(MP to strike) strike was able to use it.
If streaker was disarmed and virus received the wand it is probably scum wand goes to town player or town wand goes to scum player.
That seems to make it pretty simple today.

Well I suppose GT could have been telling the truth. I am going to wait on what streaker says. The smarter thing for Mtam to do would have been to test one of the claimed wandless but that doesnt mean he did it. For the record I tried to protect Mtam last night.

I bussed HotShot into Endgame tonight. Have no reason to assume it did not take place.

Wanted to squeeze this information in, as I probably won't be posting again before tomorrow.
Could be possible that a VT stays VT, no matter what. Strike got a wand, but was not a VT so he is able to use it.

How does that make strike scum?
Mp is town and lost his wand to (also town)strike.
Strike can and has used the power.
So town/town can use whatever power is with the wand.
The fact that virus cant use the wand indicates to me either virus is scum or streaker is scum as a town/town combination should be able to use the wand.
Also makes sense why tonka cant use scum wand.
Ill make a case against one of them in a bit here but im confused how this logic makes strike scum.
Fpd by streaker.
Why bus a wandless into a wandless? Did you not believe either claim?

I guess we wait for tomorrow to hear streakers answer.
His post certainly implied he had not lost his wand although if his action was really to force me and HS to use our actions on each other there wouldnt be any proof anyway so its fairly untestable.
Chances mtam tried to disarm someone else?
Still waiting for you to explain how strike is scum by my only town can use other town wands logic storr.

Summary of charm votes
Skillfu-town(confirmed)
Sempai-town(confirmed)
Mtam-town(confirmed)
MP-town(also pretty sure)
Rage(scum) tried to gain town cred when she knew it was hopeless,as she was one of the final votes.
Endgame(claimed VT)
Virus(claimed VT)
Tal-town(confirmed)
Got-(claimed VT but it was either him or her)
That looks like a pattern to me. Charm was very hesitant to bus her teammates and so i doubt that she threw that vote on virus for that purpose. That credits virus to me especially as it was not on the day we were pressuring her so she did it thinking she was safely hidden and might get virus lynched, not because virus was sure to be lynched next.

People who she ignored
Strike(duh)-town
Dd-probable town,disarmed
Dazza-?
Aage-?
Streaker-?
Storr-3rd party
Mars-?
HotShot-?
Mitch-?
Those with ?s next them have claimed town but have nothing to back it up.
Those with ?s(plus me/virus/got) are the potential scum pool. Charms flip makes gots story about a useless wand make sense to me so he wont be my focus my look at charms vote history gives virus credit so today id like to focus on streaker, either him or virus are likely to be scum based on my town can use town wands theory.
Virus definetly seems the more likely town player based on my analysis of charms play.
Although anyone from the list above with a (?) is fair game as far as im concerned.
My whole thing here hinges on mtam disarming streaker,he seems to be disputing that though so it may come down to mtams last words(besides voting charm)
mtamburini wrote:IF charm flips scum lynch streaker the next day.

Vs streakers defense.
Fpd by storr.
Ya im just curious if imperio was perhaps innate to charm or not as we could look at where that stolen vote went for more on charm.
And could not agree more about streaker.
