Comments: HE admits to being a multi. I thought there was a report on this guy but somehow i dont see the report.

like i said in my game chat in i bealive 3 games where people asked me includeing the above game i played back in 2009-2010 when in high shcool i left the game after graduating and going off to basic training in the military. I just last week after getting done on a game called evony where i was spending ALL of my time i decided to come back to CC. it being 5-6 years later i of course dont rememebr the info for my old account so i clicked the log in with facebook button (thus my name TimWoodbury thats my facebook name)

Yeah he's a multi.

But he is not hurting ANYONE. He has a genuine reason, and obviously is not exploiting any aspect of the game. So what will banning him do?

I say if you want to crack down on this either merge his two accounts in some way, or terminate this one and transfer his premium to his old account and give him his login info.

The mods are left with a tough call here I'm sure. Torn between doing what seems most fair and moderating the rules.

Either leave him alone or give his premium to his old account. We need players like this for speed games. He is polite and a lot of fun to play with.

This is a good example of why the CC rules needs to be changed/improved upon. he clearly has good intentions, so mods can remove the old account. or some other fix, but to ban him from the site, is like being hung for a traffic ticket. CC has become so finite with technical rules, that anyone can find some fault of a rule being broken against just about everyone on this site.

OK so im going to get off for a while play on a new account and (I forgot my email and pw) Then get on and steal peoples points, who care about them. So i get a free pass cause i supposedly forgot my PW and account info? I want a reset on my points and account and a new user name, so i get one right? The rules are simple NO MULTI accounts. What he should of done was got with the admin to help. So yes award him a free pass and give him all the points and things are good!!!!

Let's assume that you played X years ago, using another email adress which is now closed.
Let's assume that you were only playing time to time, unaware of the C and A forum and all the rules.

Then yes you deserve a free pass.

No multi account is understood by the majority of people by not having several accounts active at the same time. This is at least how I understood the rule and was very surprised discovering how this rule work here on CC ( not the case of other gaming website I've been on). Not every player coming back after few years know that, and when someone want to play back a game he played a couple of years, he probably doesn't want spending time trying to find out what was his old email adress and waiting a reply from the admin in case he can't figure it out. ( no idea how long it takes but definitely longer than creating a new account).

Well, and nothing to do with it, but cmon stealing points? The points you lost to a new guy will be back soon enough.
Some player go up to 1500 and up to 3000 in couple of weeks, are they stealing points when they go up again to 3k pts?
What about a new player that beat you by luck ? Happens a lot all the time, he took points from you, that's the same. Your overall total of points will almost not be affected by playing against one "multi" time to time. The argument of points is just total bullshit non sense. I played port80 ( multi see other topic here) 2 days ago, he beat me, I lost 40 pts, I've already gained more by now, because points change all the time and it doesn't matter at all to lose one game to a "multi". Stop with this non sense argument please.

As we are unable to locate what his past account is, I am going to let this be. The account may have been used sparingly or not too often that he can hardly remember what it is.
