It's a power role claim (or in fact, the lack thereof). What's missing is his name claim.

Just like dakky refused to give his entire claim, he only did the name part.

A full claim in a game like this consists if ALL INFORMATION AVAILABLE. That means power role + name claim.

The more I think about this, the less likely I see rose doing what she as scum. She did push dakky for a full claim (unlike with Tim now), the only part that doesn't make sense is why rose hammered without waiting for said information.

In fact, it was dakky's NAME claim that made me consider him as scum. It was only until he claimed the power that goes with it that I started doubting.

dakky claimed jake the dog, again means nothing, what we really want is a power role claim and alignment, dakky refused to say what his power role was, tim has told you he is town alligned with no special powers.....tell you what i will claim on his behalf, he is jake the dog......does that make you any wiser? no? thought not

A claim is all about getting information. Withholding information doesn't help town. Especially in a flavour game like this, a name claim has proven on more then 1 occasion to be the key in catching scum.

for the umpeenth time streaker (i do wish you read my posts properly) the reason i hammered dakky was not because he claimed to be jake the dog, not because he claimed to be town alligned, but because he hinted at a role that would get him night killed, but could not name the role, as if he had said cop, mitch would have counterclaimed. had he said he was vt then that would be fair enough except it is inconsistent with his claim that his role was important to town.

Now had tim on D1 soft claimed a power role by saying he was important and if claiming would be night killed and now says he is vt, i would be lynching him, but he is not, so I will not lynch him without a convincing argument against him.

how does it? suppose he was given the role finn, and now posts that he is finn, how does that help town? maybe he was given the role of mickey mouse and posts his claim as mickey mouse.....any wiser now? no of course not. I could understand your point if the role given bears any sort of relationship to allegiance or PRs, but making ron weasley scum shows it doesn't.
