Trying to join doubles and invite my partner

Why the heck if I join a team for a doubles game I cannot invite my friend as my partner any more if there's an open slot on a team above mine? It'll only let me invite a person for that instead. This is really stupid.

Click on it and it will let you invite / have a drop down allowing you to pick what team # you invite too

Click on it and it will let you invite / have a drop down allowing you to pick what team # you invite too

Then I would report a bug or provide a screen shot.
If the "invite" is listed you should be able to click on it, a new mini window pops up asking for user name and next to that is a drop down that lets you select te team you are inviting them too

I experience the same issue. I come across it on the waiting games interface. Icepack, what you are describing is what shows up when you look at a game from the game finder.

So yes, there is a bug.
