for anyone that is unclear, a jailer is a combination of roleblocker and bodyguard. whoever is targetted cannot be night killed but equally cannot perform any night action

I mucked up with Sausage. I jailed him because i misread an interaction between him and Dakky. Dakky wasnt defnding him, just didnt understand.

I didnt jail Mitch as then whilst he would still be alive he wouldnt have been able to use his power

with mitch's death last night, and assuming wing is telling the truth i would have thought that we do not have any other protective role than jailer.

and we must have some sort of protective role in the game. I would like to ask though why jail pt last night and not me? you seem pretty sure now that i am town.

I think we need to call for a counterclaim.....anybody claiming a protective role? we have no cop now to protect, if we have a protector you should claim, then once claimed i would be happy to lynch wing, if noone claims i would be inclined to believe him, we should certainly have someone who can protect, though what is the point of a jailer protecting anyone with a night action such as tracker, watcher or cop?....which brings me back to the question posed in the last paragraph, it seems that i would be the only sensible target for a jailer, ie a town power role with no night action, so why not jail me?

pt, there is no point in jailing the cop as he loses his night action, what is the point of having a cop if you jail him?

it is better to jail town power roles that do not have a night action to block, such as double voter, its got nothing to do with me personally.

jail the cop every night, sure he survives, but he is no use as a cop, just becomes a vt....mafia would love that

I didnt think you were under threat white rose as you were by all accounts going to try and lynch me today, which would help mafia big time. So no I didnt feel the need to protect you. Instead searched for the factional kill.

I want to lynch Pt, so when he flips mafia I can jail Tim and prove conclusively its him. Works by lynching Tim too though.

I could accept that you were jailer, and i could accept that rather than jail mitch cos he would not be able to perform you tried to protect him by jailing pt.....i can even accept that tim is his scum buddy....but but but....this does not explain why you flipped from tim yesterday to hammer streaker when you knew i was about to hammer tim.

You would be confirmed town*. If tim flips mafia, i will jail you. So even if I get killed you would be confirmed town. If tim doesn't flip mafia then I am not sure who I jail.

So this was three days ago. You never made a case, did someone else make it for you, or did something change your mind? And what was your other read?

As for jailer claim. It does seem strange that the only protective role in the game would be a jailkeeper, however it would seem likely that there is one. Since no one has counterclaimed with another protective role, it seems plausible. It does shoot up my VT read though.

You can look in other games, that is how I post regardless of alignment, I can only really get on once or twice a day, and when I do, I like to make my posts larger to try and cover everything.
I'll just say this about about cyan/soldier. Bad play does not equal scummy play. I won't really fight what is effectively a policy lynch of someone who has only claimed VT and done nothing else, but I do believe it would be about equivalent to a random lynch.

I am somewhat dubious of Pixar's claim. He claimed as a second investigative role (with no info to add) and that is all he has done today: make a bizarre claim and vanish.

Declaring yourself to have town cred? Really? Especially when your "town cred" is that streaker read you town and you pursued dakky D1. You are not confirmed town, so you shouldn't act like someone is a fool for questioning you, its a bad look.

Please, I called bullshit on a scummate D1? Don't give me that. Also, "town cred" and "confirmed townie" are not synonymous so don't "act" like I said that.

Day 1 is the easiest day to call out a scummate. Stop acting like it is so ridiculous that someone could do that. Scum lynch their mates all the time, just for the "town cred". Also, looking back, all you did was literally say "bullshit" on dakky after his terrible claim. You didn't vote for him until after he was the leading vote getter. You are giving yourself too much credit for voting for a lynched scum. Scum would definitely call a teammate out for a half claim like that, especially if they knew the mate could give more.

So basically all town except the one person who is concerned about your alignment? Your phrasing of your read on White Rose shows that you admit that if it wasnt for Mitch's investigation you would see him as scummy.

My read of TWR probably would have been neutral without the investigation. But after mitch's investigation, unless you thought mitch was scum also, there really wasn't a good enough reason to try to lynch a "confirmed" town, and a double voter besides. Double voters are usually town, and it's a provable role. So without much better reasons than you had, I feel it was a scummy thing to try to do.

While reading day 2, I was getting the feeling that either streaker or you were scum, but probably not both, as that would be too obvious of buddying if you were both scum. But one scum buddying with a town is very plausible. And since streaker was obviously town... that leaves you as scum in that scenario.

As for your claim now, it's provable, but only if you jail a power role, which wouldn't be very towny to do. So if you are lying, you could say you jailed any of the remaining people, and when the kill goes through you must have missed. A mass claim as you ask for would only help you be sure that you don't accidentally say you jailed a PR that you didn't know about. If dakky hadn't flipped scum roleblocker, I would really be going after you for your slip in the claim, but since I kind of doubt scum have 2 roleblockers, I'll assume you aren't another scum roleblocker.

As for whether or not there is another protective role out there or not, which is the one thing going for your claim, there very well could be a hidden doc out there still. And if the doc has no reason to claim, he shouldn't, as a hidden doc is worth a lot more than a known doc.

So in conclusion... I still think you are the most likely to be scum.

I looked this up because his list came off scummy to me. But its no different to usual. Though seriously Hotshot you need to find two mafia I think, so have stronger opinions.

Rage dont push the doublevoter around. He is confirmed town you sre not. Guide and advise, but dont push.

Now if there is a doc they SHOULD claim, as should any town power role. If there is another town power role then Pix or I must be lying. That is a reason to claim and will achieve far more that way than by hiding.
