sorry chaps, after last nights events in paris and as a mark of respect i will not be playing this game today

will continue to post tomorrow. my thoughts today are with those in my favourite city.

Rage dont push the doublevoter around. He is confirmed town you sre not. Guide and advise, but dont push.

Now if there is a doc they SHOULD claim, as should any town power role. If there is another town power role then Pix or I must be lying. That is a reason to claim and will achieve far more that way than by hiding.

yesterday wing first tried to lynch me, arguing that i was scum with mitch or with tim who must be the bus driver. When he got no support for lynching me, he tried to go after tim.....meanwhile my vote was constantly on streaker. We got to a stalemate so i said i would switch my vote to tim, not that i believed he was scum, but we needed to lynch someone and this would prove wing wrong, who would undoubtedly been next to be lynched.

But then something strange happened and wing who had never made a case against streaker, came off tim and hammered streaker. As it turns out i was wrong about streaker, and so wing should be now if anything even more convinced that i am scum, but yet he now says that i am confirmed town! gone is his theory of tim being the bus driver.

....and yet he is still trying to lynch tim....but now claims his buddy to be ptlowe.

he claims to be jailer and yet did not jail me. these actions are so contradictory i really cannot see how he can be anything but scum.

who is his buddy? could be almost anyone.....even tim.

....and why are we assuming that there is only 2 scum to find? with 13 players its quite feasible that 4 will be scum, especially when you consider town have a cop and doublevoter.

my only concern is that we have had no-one counterclaim a protective role, but should there be a bodyguard, he or she may think it best not to be discovered as yet.....it is wing who is trying to discover who is the bodyguard.

all in all, all roads lead to wing......so

I think soldier is a better play. I dont like killing power roles. If we are wrong on Wing then this is going to go bad quick. Im still not happy with cyan/soldiers participation.

No way the game is that easy. Not even in my first game (where I was scum) did I defend a fellow scummate D1. Do you really think mitch would do that? I find it very unlikely.

I don't know enough about mitch to come to that conclusion. I just think that I have more faith in mitch's play than you have, Rose.

My vote is still a joke vote on streaker so I will unvote.

If mitch is lynched and flips town, it is interesting to analyse the votes on him. I would think that scum would want to get on that bandwagon early in order to appear towny. But perhaps that's WIFOM.

first question, what have we found out from pixar?

Looking back and reading Pixar's posts, (you can seriously read everything he wrote in less than a minute) there isn't much to be gleaned. He supported lynching Tim on D2, then tried to track him N2, but got nothing as he was actually a watcher. On D3, he pretty much did his claiming and then came back to hammer wing. To be honest, I would've been all over a lynch of him today based on his play, but scum went ahead and did that for us. He didn't give much for reads beyond sheeping streaker on tim.

As for streaker and wing, I don't think their play was too scummy. I was surprised that wing was a PR, but I did think he was town with the sole exception of him hammering streaker. You tunneled streaker early on D2, and that basically set you against him. Then you were set against wing when wing said your plan was ad and tried to explain how mitch's investigation could be wrong. Did you actually think they were both scum right before their flips?

I still believe that Tim is a great choice for a lynch, but I don't think we can really "look into him" at this point, as he has already claimed and it appears that his response to pressure will be saying "go ahead and lynch me, and then the player leading this push will be scum when I flip town." Well streaker and wing have both flipped town now Tim, does that mean you must be scum? What I'm trying to say is, I think we should lynch Tim, but I am pessimistic about it actually happening. (At least in a normal "pressure -> defense -> decision" manner)

I must ask, what do you think of wing saying to lynch ragian with his final throws? You mention Tim as a possibility due to wing, but don't mention ragian.

As for soldier/cyan... I just don't know. I think as players continue to flip town, it looks more and more like a scum is hiding in the shadows. Bad/weird play does not equal scum play, but it definitely does not clear soldier as town either.
