What was the item? Revealing it only makes him a target if it is still active or it has undefined resilts. So going half way is bad. I have a theory about what happened to end but I won't speculate for the moment until I have heard from others.

As of right now:

1. Me-obviously I trust myself.
2. Panckae-have read him town for most of the game.
3. Ib-currently reading him town.
4. Pt-actions suggest town.

Which leaves

5. Mets-has soft defended both Streaker and Tim at one point or another (will post details when at a computer)
6. Hotshot-dosent really stand out to me for being much of anything. Would read as scum at the moment though I know this is weak.

You know as well as anyone that information flow is crucial in this game. Maybe the item, whatever it is, doesn't make you a target, but maybe it does; it all depends on how mafia integrate that information into its analysis. The point is, it now has one more piece of info to analyze that it didn't have before, and that's only ever justified when the benefit to town outweighs the benefit to mafia. But since it is not clear for us how to usefully process this information, you've essentially given mafia a gift. For example, if the gifter is still alive, they now know that you are not him, which narrows down their search list.

Now, I'm not saying that this is a major slip; I am not angry at you because I don't think it would shift the game outcome that much. But I think that it is kind of a scum tell, so I am noting it for now.

So it seems mitch was swapped with whoever he was trying to kill. Thoughts on who that might have been?

I'm also going to concurr with strike on his assessment of HotShot. I can't even think of his contributions this game, to be honest.I do feel a review is in order, so I'll try to make that happen.

This late in the game we are pretty much at Lylo. For the record, I can confirm I did not switch Madmitch with anyone last night. Though I do wonder if this is the same person who caused the night 2 confusion.

I'm not sure why people thought endgame was the gift giver... he said he visited Ptlowe that night, not that he gave him a gift. People jumped to the assumption he was the gift giver, and he decided not to refute that claim. If he did actually visit Ptlowe then he's now a PGO... although he very easily could have been the cause of one of the 2 deaths instead that night and been lying about who he visited.

IB, why say you got something, but not actually say anything about it? Since night gifts usually don't last more than a night, I assume whatever effect it gave you has worn off by now, so why didn't you just say what it did?

Right now, I'm assuming ptlowe is town since his spyglass results were accurate. Both of my main scum reads yesterday (mitch & tim) are now dead, so I'll have to look back at the current survivors to see which are the most likely to be scum.

I have more "interesting" information. I would need to claim. In fact it may not be a bad idea because I am protected against a kill.

OK, I am going to start the mass claim right now. I am the gifter. Town Magician actually, my character is Hank Morgan from Twain's Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court.

I held off until now because I thought there was a chance Iron Butterfly wasn't going to be truthful about what happened to mitch, but now that he's admitted it, I can move forward.

If you doubt my claim then as a last resort I can state what my N3 gift was and who I gave it to, but for reasons that will be clear I would like to hold off on that yet.

I know that claiming puts me at risk as a juicy mafia kill, but I am pretty confident that we can nail a scum today, so it's a risk worth taking in my mind.

This spy glass sounds like the sort of thing you don't just get by accident. If Endgame didn't intend to give it to him, it probably wasn't Endgame's action. And while I admire Streaker's cleverness in trying to save himself, I certainly am not going to stand by and let that happen.

My actions have mostly been switching myself with someone I felt suspicious. Early on because I didn't trust any other player enough and N3 because I thought I might be considered a target by at least one of those two kills for possibly being the secret double voter. I won't say much more until more have claimed.

Biggest regret: Not switching Dakky with Tim as I had originally planned N1.

Night One I investigated Strike and got....JOAT, which puzzled me later on.
Night two I investigated Mets...wait for it and got....Bus Driver.
Night three I investigated Mitch and got...JOAT.

So yeh someone has been messing up my results. I have been operating believing Mets was the Busdriver and Strike May be lying. I am also suspect of the play of the busdriver, which I assumed was Mets.His play combined with that made him suspect but now with him claiming Mag it all makes sense.

Keep in mind I investigated knowing that the results do not mean guilt or innocent but also help in determining if they may be lying.

If I had it to do over *grin* I would make different choices. Hotshot comes to mind. He has been playing as he usually does and so has not been on my radar. End of course...It was a ballsy move but by day 2 I gave him benefit of doubt. I also did not expect we would lose three players last night.
