This team purposefully deadbeated in a the Two Step Dubs tournament. We have already discussed with Mad777 and Clive as tournament leaders and they recommended we report them here. See detailed notes below showing that they selectively skipped turns in order to strategically deadbeat and give their spoils to their teammate who collected back to back in escalating game.

Of our 4 games against them, here are TheKidsTrumpet's turns during the time period in question. Take a look at the dates that he missed turns in the game in question and the dates that he made turns in the other 3 games we played them.

Game #16260325 - game where he deadbeated and they gained a distinct advantage, being able to turn 2 sets back to back. This was set up b/c we had him cornered and were about to eliminate on our next turn.

There is no doubt that all the turns TheKidsTrumpet missed were not intentional, because what interest would he have missing turn in that one [game]16260324[/game] ?
Missing 2 turns and playing the 3rd didn't give him any advantage.

So he may have skip one turn strategically, but definitely not all the others.

Would you have cornered him that easily without the two not intentional missed turns he had before ?
Also you're jumping to conclusion, maybe he had only couple of minutes and played one turn, or he thought he still had 2 hours and he could play the other game later but didn't come back in times.

And you said you had him cornered. He had 27 regions last turns he played, you took 11 from him so he still had 16 regions. Meaning, excluding any bonus he would have, he would have deployed at least 15 turns troops ( 5 for his turns, 2 for the 2 missed).
You think you'd have been able to eliminate him with him having minimum 31 troops ( 16 regions + 15 troops), with you deploying 10 turns on your next turn?

The reason this was reported is b/c it happened to have a major impact in the game where he actually did deadbeat. I appreciate you looking into this but this logic makes no sense. It's the equivalent of saying, "I'm glad that drunk driver blindsided me and totaled my car b/c I got a new car out of it and all that reconstructive surgery cleaned out some old scar tissue in my knee."

This is where you're making a mistake, because all the other missed turns except the one that kicked him out of the game are obviously not giving him any advantage.
Actually they are relevant only to argue that he was having trouble taking his turns during this period and therefore the last one he missed could also be not intentional.
Please check all the other missed turns and try to find out an advantage he could have from it, you won't be able to do it (except if you are stretching the facts and logic ) because there isn't.
There is never advantage in missing turn, except in freestyle games, not the case here, or sometimes in round limit multiplayers game to make your opponent believe you aren't a threat, not the case either.
But there might be an advantage if you already missed 2 turns, missing a 3rd one, this I can agree it's possible. But the 2 first missed turns, in all the games you are showing, no advantage was gained from them. That is why I am saying there are irrelevant. They were not intentional, and if they were, then he is stupid and he didn't gain advantage from them anyway.

I agree that only the first 2 games mentioned are relevant to each other. It shows that he took a turn on [game]16260324[/game] where he could have taken a turn on [game]16260325[/game] as well. It does look suspicious but It is still questionable that his teammate would have something to do with it.

This tournament is not an Auto tournament so your dispute over Thekidstrumpet's missed turns can be forwarded to the Tournament mods or Organizer and they will make their decision about this matter.

With this much evidence, I can only note this report on Thekidstrumpet's record for now.
