The reason fighting games are great is that the competitive nature is perfect. One player vs one player with the same rules applying to both. The operative word there is player, not AI.

Well, other than occasionally getting off one of the special moves, I can't really get past the basic moves. And even backing up, half the time my character is jumping. When I don't mean to.

And truth be told, I play games more for the story than anything. With a few exceptions like ME3.
