Where is an appropriate place to whinge about a map

Was defeated in the Austro-Hungarian Empire map by someone satisfying the victory conditions. Game 16504838

Good on him, but I didn't even realise there was victory conditions. Yes, I know I am stupider than the next person to reply here and tell me I should read all the rules for the map, but have a look where the victory conditions are displayed.

The last bullet point under The Thrones. Not the first. Not bolded. Not in a special section at the top titled Victory Conditions.

Really, talk about hiding one of the most important pieces of information in the fine print!

To answer the original question, the appropriate place to whinge about a map is its Map Discussion Thread.

Each map has its own Discussion Thread. When you're in Browse Maps mode, there's a direct link to the discussion thread at the bottom of the map:



To be honest, those threads (in the Foundry Atlas) are not well-attended, and the chances of getting much action when the original mapmaker has left the site are slim, but still... Over time an accumulation of comments will sometimes stimulate some kind of action.

I did think to look in the map foundry but I couldn't see anything for this map.

After clicking on the link as you mentioned I see the correct discussion place is

Because, you now its not flagged as a Beta map and well, whats the The Atlas.

Yeah, any completed map not in Beta is in the Atlas.

How silly of me not to find this when like everything else on this site, its is so perfectly logically laid out.

We've gone through three owners, about a dozen administrators, about seven or eight foundry foremen. Each one has had a slightly different philosophy of how it should be organised, and none of them have had the time to fully implement their plans. The place is somewhat confusing as a result. There's evidence of a lot of reorganizations that began and were never completed.

To some degree we all have to help each other find this or that. There's a lot of stuff buried deep.
