You score or lose points in every game except for guide and bot games, an scenarios

This probably is a good place to start although I'm not sure it addresses specifically points and how they are earned.

Standard the winner takes all.
Assassin winner takes all.
Terminator its kill based.
Poly you win similar to 1vs1.
Team games you split the avg with your teammates.

[Extreme Ways]

Game 16505443 is probably the one you are referring to. This is a scenario game. Because scenarios are often unbalanced, they dont give you any points for winning just like bot and guide games.
