Since there were 1.2 billion Catholics in the world.
All following the words of a central Vatican authority which, as warmonger does not dispute, has routinely refused to condemn or punish its priests when they diddle little boys and girls, and which as a matter of doctrine condemns homosexuality as a sin. Quite an insidious tentacle stuck into the heart of the world, are the Papists.
Christians don't follow the Vatican, Catholics do.
I'm not sure even Catholics follow the Vatican, kid. Interesting bit of anti-Catholic bigotry though.
Out of interest, are there any religions you don't hate? I'm thinking you might have a soft spot for Jainism.
This best not be directed at me. How the f*ck have I been bigoted or anti-Catholic? Where do I hate on all religions? Lmao.
Good catch, although you're still kinda on the hook for the Catholics aren't really Christians stuff. That's classic anti-Catholicism right there.

Yeah. It's not mainstream Christianity, it's just the most widely followed denomination practiced by roughly half of all Christians in the entire world.

are you standing by your "Christians don't follow the Vatican" statement? I like that you're walking it back and all, but it'd be good of you to outright admit you were wrong.
If that's in your wheelhouse, of course.

So far as I can tell, Caff is standing by his position that Catholics follow the Vatican and is acknowledging that Catholicism is practiced by 1.2 billion people in the world and thus is the predominant form of Christianity, he is just keen to point out that Catholicism being the dominant Christian doctrine does not make it mainstream Christianity. 'Mainstream Christianity' is, in fact, one of the less widely followed, less popular versions of Christianity.
All Caff needs to do is redefine the meaning of the word mainstream, and we're good to go!

I'd be happy if he walked back his statement properly, so we're good to go on my front.

Interesting. What is "mainstream" Christainity then, and what makes you think so?

For years, Protestants have assumed they were immune to the abuses perpetrated by celibate Catholic priests. But Tchividjian believes that Protestant churches, groups, and schools have been worse than Catholics in their response. Mission fields, he says, are “magnets” for would-be molesters; ministries and schools do not understand the dynamics of abuse; and “good ol’ boy” networks routinely cover up victims’ stories to protect their reputations. He fears it is only a matter of time before it all blows up in their faces and threatens the survival of powerful Protestant institutions.
This problem is nothing new. The first book on clergy sex abuse in this country, Betrayal of Trust, was published in 1988. The perception that Catholic priests are overrepresented among offenders is correct. They do offend at a higher rate. But because this country is predominantly Protestant, more children are abused by Protestant ministers than by Catholic priests. In 1990, the Freedom from Religion Foundation issued a study on pedophilia by clergy. At that time, two clergy per week were being arrested in North America for sex crimes against children. Fifty-eight percent of them were Protestant.
And before other people get on their high horse, abuse is a problem in secular public schools as well ...
The U.S. Government Accountability Office said the nation’s K-12 schools lack a systemic approach to preventing and reporting educator sexual abuse of students, despite a problem that the report said affects an estimated 9.6 percent of students – nearly one in 10 – who are subjected to sexual misconduct by teachers, coaches, principals, bus drivers and other personnel during their K-12 career. That figure is from a 2004 report made to the U.S. Department of Education and is the most recent estimate available, according to the Government Accountability Office report released last week.
Of course to bring this severely derailed thread back to topic. Kiddie fiddling priests are not real christians....... Hitler developed blow up dolls so german soldiers didn't contract venereal diseases from filthy french whores. Why not save a child by giving a priest a blow up doll for christmas. Seems like the christian thing to do. Catholic precedent for that as well. As germany had a lot of catholics in the armed forces during, prior to, and after the 2nd world war. We have even had a Hitler youth pope. Sig hallelujah in spiritus satanus
See what you incoherent, verbally incontinent, mouth shitters could have done with a little thought. Linked the topic with christians, catholic christians, clergy, paedophilia, sex toys, not real christians, nazis, hitler, germany.
I fart in your general direction. <to any catholic priests/christian clergy of any type, that is not an invitation.>

Obviously Christianity is the problem. Perhaps you should kill all the doctors that birth babies so Christianity is obliterated. Oh wait, you would rather shoot abortion doctors in the name of Christ.
Remember the 52 victims of 7/7. Real Britons will never forget!
This week the not real Muslims played their little game of Tahartush gamea in Sweden . A wonderful game that involved the sexual assaults of 35 girls aged 12-17.
Swedish socialist and feminist politician barbro sorman suggested rape is worse when committed by Swedish men than by Muslims. She explained that Swedish men should have higher standards than migrants who come from cultures where women are treated as second class citizens!
There we have it! it's official, socialists are complete morons and their ideology is completely at odds with the vermin they are trying to pack our civilised cultures with!
Who's worse, followers of Mohammed or modern day liberals? The liberals by a fucking large margin!

It is not Christianity that caused the one child policy in China with forced abortions for violators. It is not Christianity that caused gender based abortions in India because boys are preferred over girls.
And frankly, anyone who wants to shoot anyone (except for those conditions of just war and self defense) should be watched very carefully and prevented from carrying out such intentions.

Remember the 174,000 victims of Bush and Blair's war in Iraq.
We sure can. And they should be imprisoned for the illegal war but today is an anniversary. So try to diminish your hate and jealousy of white people and our culture for once in your pitiful existence and try to show a little respect and a little dignity.
Maybe in your gospel church there are people who consider abortion to be akin to killing civilians in a suicide bombing or military invasion, but in most of the rest of the world that is not the case.

And yesterday the Chilcot Inquiry's report into the decision to invade Iraq was published. Or don't you get regular people news in Portsmouth?

Really, are you suggesting that as as those numbers went up the importance of the parts of the numbers might actually decrease in reverse proportion?
Because, seriously, a lot of the world also don't think the indirect killing of people (collateral damage) is not the same as the direct killing of people (suicide bombings) in the same matter as you consider abortions not equivalent to direct and indirect killing of people.

Of course I know that but I think you'll find we're talking about a completely different subject here, or didn't you notice that? One that you never have a plausible answer to anything I write!
