Today is the last 7 week deadline for round 3. All games have been created, posted and filled.

FALL beat LOW and is the first clan to go to round 4, the semi-finals!

They start next Sunday, August 7 and the 7 week deadline is September 25.

Interesting matches. In both brackets we have a recently successful "new power" versus a "traditional power" in the clan world. In the first four versions of the CC cup the winner of S&M and TOFU won the cup and it could've happened last year, except Fallen had other ideas. If we manage to face off with S&M this year it would be for the cup.

Yeah I was saying to someone (can't remember who it was) this year is pretty exciting. Will it end up being new vs new, old vs old, or some combo of new / old in the finals? Looking at the current match ups, I wouldn't have been surprised if someone told me that either of them would have been a cup finals match up, and the finals will be similar. So in essence, its almost like getting 3 finals this cup instead of 1 for viewing / excitement purposes

Yeah I believe you are right, but back then most considered LHDD & FALL kinda under dogs etc where as this year it's a little more exciting / CC5 and CL7 winners

Its certainly a bit more interesting this way. I don't think S&M would need to do much research on us, or vice versa. This way its two entirely new match-ups so no team has 4-5 wars of history to draw on.

Yep, 2 very interesting wars coming in the next weeks! Probably the 4 best clans right now on CC made it to the semis and now let the party begins!

I'd personally love a LHDDvs FALL final to take our revenge from last year's semifinal! And I guess FALL will want a revenge from the miraculous CL7 win we had after the buzzer.
