Not that I think it has any bearing on alignment, but I am a bit curious to know who decided to ask for a specific character.

Also, Tim, how do you know that someone tried to kill the Magikarp? All we know is that it fainted.

i just said kill because when i play pokemon games i say i killed x pokemon or they killed my y pokemon.(note when a Pokemon faints typically its ment to be said it died)

Strike the reason i asked if he was new, was that each person has 2 victory conditions. While it is never recommended that you auto reveal who you are. Doing so at the start of the game just makes me think he is new. Especially in this game. I haven't played with him before so i can't gauge him doing that very well.

There are 14 people in this game and there are 700 pokemons out there. That leaves a lot of fakeclaims and the chance to hit someone is really low. So I guess he could have just fakeclaimed, just like Tim claiming electrocuting (Pikachu's power)... also, there is meta from the last game where I claimed early and was established as town whole game... so maybe he is trying to do the similar strategy...

Anyway, too early to tell, but BuJaber is first on my list for now. Had some games with him, he always said I'm town and this is a first game "he doesn't have that feeling" while even joke vote stage didn't end. Meta again, but I do notice a change in his play style.

Mandy I believe you're over-reacting. The comma (",") is missing in his sentence. If it was "Strike, the reason..." it would change the whole meaning. So he was just replying to his accusation and vote. To be clear, not defending him, I like to write without commas as well.

Bujaber can be a very smart player. I have played several games with him, the last of which was werewolf. He got my unofficial MVP vote forthat game.

I will agree that early claiming of Pokeman name was not smart...then again we do not know his second win condition or alighnment.

If one were allowed to choose their own Pokeman and the alighnments are choosen at random (or at least they should be) then a Pokeman card name should have no bearing on alignment.

For the record I know of Pokeman and the game but I have never played nor understand it's rules.

The story: a bunch of Pokemon went to the beach with their trainers. Unfortunately, their trainers are all staring at their phone and totally wander off looking for Articuno. The Pokemon are left to their own devices when a group of bullies shows up.

Man this is the greatest mafia story ive ever read on this site.

Not a joke. This post seems so out of character. Granted it is day one but you lied about last game. You ended up Vanilla NOT KNOWING you were vanilla. You were scum not knowing your role had been switched. This does have bearing nowthat you seem to be mainipulating what happened.

I will say that its been awhile since i've played with mitch as well. However i feel like he's just reading too much into flavor posts ATM.
But IB is correct that it is a bit odd from mitch. (since the last game i've played, but maybe its just growth). Anyways its worth noting for me at least.

Meta again, at least I think I got used to mitch, him writing a whole story and a lot of words means he is probably town. In last few games he was scum (knowingly or not) and this is a bit odd, but I think this change came with the change of his alignment. As I said, meta.

As everyone else is saying, at least mitch is trying... he does seem to try a lot harder when he is town than when he is scum, so I'll lean slightly town on him for now. Your going after mitch, usually an easy case for scum to make since he is usually so wild, will make me put a FOS on you to start with.

It has nothing to do with being hostile or being upset. It has everything to do with playing the game of mafia and finding scum. You may be able to find a job working for the Hilary campaighn with your spin on it.

The joke phase is over at different times for different players. I never stated the joke phase was over. I simply stated my vote was not a joke.
