A mod for the Chinese?

Is it worth having a mod dedicated to opening up the forums to the Chinese? What about opening the forums to other minority groups?

I'd be interested in seeing people's takes on this with a view to making a suggestion thread based on feedback.

I don't know that I'd classify the Chinese as a "minority group", but I do think we need a mod for their issues, whatever they may be (I think the Chinese LBGT will need a separate mod from the other)!

I think it's really important, when creating mod positions for minority groups, to start with the smallest minority and work our way up. After all, the smallest minorities probably feel the most isolated and neglected, and it's important to extend a welcoming hand to them before moving on toward more comfortable groups. I'm sure the 1.3 billion people in China and the 1.5 billion Chinese worldwide probably feel pretty secure with their status.

I think we should start by creating a mod for the Ter Sami. Once we have one of those, we can work our way up. The second group to get a special mod will be the Kayardild, then the Ume Sami, and so on, and so forth. Only when the smallest and least fortunate groups on the planet feel comfortable on Conquer Club can we call ourselves truly open to all.

I'm terrified of the notion that either one of those 2 people are LBGT (and black and a woman)! We may need more mods for that sole person than there are players on this site currently!

We definitely need a separate mod for LBGT Chinese. And they will fall under the supervision of the global LBGT mod that will be installed prior. I'm actually thinking we need to break the hierarchy further:

Global LBGT mod
Supervises the Global L mod, global B mod, global G mod and the global T mod

The Global LBGT mod will also supervise the multitude of ethnic LBGT mods, however the Global L, B, G and T mod will be responsible for supervising ethnic L, B, G and T mods respectively.

I'm not yet sure how to deal with mixed ethnicities. Perhaps they'll benefit from having multiple mods? Don't know how "far back" in ones linage will qualify you for mod supervision. For instance, I have Hungarian ancestry, but it's more than 4 generations back. And I'm not L, B, G or T. I don't think I'd qualify for modding that will be served out by the Hungarian non-LBGT mod, as much as I would like to.

So, for example, the Urdu-as-a-second-language Tamil expatriots living in the Emirates mod has an overlap with the immoderates mod. They then turn to the team of difference resolving mods, which is composed thus:
1) a mod who represents might = right
2) a mod who represents randomizing
3) a mod for fisticuffs (with a huge petty cash fund to pay to get our users together in the ring)
4) a mod for seniority
5) a mod for "I wear the pants around here"
6) a mod for "let's not talk about it"
7) a mod for appeals to authority
a mod for appeals to social groups
