That is why Christophe Lemaitre's achievement of a Bronze in the 200m is so impressive. And somewhat relates to the wider debate:

I certainly celebrate US and GB's achievements this Olympics. Both countries have shown amazing levels of talent, skill and athletic ability and should be applauded.

But I also celebrate Christophe Lemaitre's, Jamaica's and New Zealand's achievements as well. These people/countries have punched well above their weight or had to fight adversity, yet still delivered amazing results.

And finally shout out to the Kenyan drug cheats. East Africans rose to the top in long distance utilising genetics, but they have stayed there utilising drugs.

The press here have been all over the big records worldwide too. Bolt and Phelps, of course, but a genuine celebration almost all round. It's been kind of brilliant to see individual achievements celebrated too, here.

He was the first white boy under 10 seconds on the 100m. That was great, but there were a few more acheivements that were more impressive.
50kms walking under 40 degrees was fucking incredible. These guys were litterally shitting themselves, drying out. They looked like walking dead, fell a few times... And still continued. That was a real disgrace to hold such event at that particular moment of the day.

I like how you guys are so threatened by the athleticism of people with black skin that you've decided to refocus the focus away from 'the best' and on to 'the best white'. Much like the Euro athletes themselves have been doing.

A Polish middle distance runner who finished fifth in the women’s 800m final won by Caster Semenya at the Rio Olympics has claimed she “feels like a silver medallist”.

Joanna Jozwik also appeared to controversially claim that she was proud to have finished as the “first European” and the “second white” in the race.

Pacific islanders have dominated rugby for years now, but that's okay - Australia and England are the best white people aka important teams!

Funny how mrswdk translates the acknowledgement of black supremacy in certain sports to 'threatened'. You just have to dramatize everything don't you?

Bitterly stating that being 'the second white' is 'like silver', because black people have too much of an unfair advantage to count =/= simple acknowledgement that black people are more likely to possess genes suited to track racing

Su got some attention for being the best Chinese sprinter ever. I don't recall any bitter ranting about how Chinese Su is actually the world champion because Bolt, de Grasse and everyone else non-Chinese don't count and/or are probably drug cheats anyway.

Ehm, you said "you guys are so threatened" hence why I was stating my observation about Betiko and Lootifer, not your obviously racist quote.

And Su is exactly the point I wanted to make as well. It's fine to celebrate a person's achievements even if they aren't the best in the world. Him being the best asian sprinter is just as impressive as that white guy being the best white sprinter. To me it almost sounded like you didn't approve of celebrating such performances.

Oh, yeah mean the guys celebrating the 'first white boy under 10 seconds' and linking a white French man's achievements to 'the wider debate' concerning whether or not Semenya's genetic advantage is unfair to the point of deserving penalization? Mmkay.

And Su is exactly the point I wanted to make as well. It's fine to celebrate a person's achievements even if they aren't the best in the world.

If Chinese people celebrate Su it's on account of him being the first Chinese national to run that fast and compete at that level. It's about his achievement and the progress they demonstrate. No one focuses on who his opponents are and what makes them better than Su.

Lootifer, betiko and the whiny Polish/British/etc. athletes' celebration of white times and discounting of black times is designed to downplays the achievements of black athletes, by wallowing in 'you only beat me because you're black' self-pity.

No doubt it's tough being beaten over and over again by people you think you deserve to rule - but one day they'll get used to it, and acceptance will wash over them like a cool breeze!

There you go again. Twisting words and dramatizing as if now it's about "people you think you DESERVE TO RULE". Stop making things up. I'm fed up with your trolling. Don't even bother replying, you're foe-listed.

Would've though a 'hang the criminals and make the Muslims take off their veils' hardliner would be a bit more resilient than rage quitting over an obviously tongue-in-cheek comment at the end of a forum post.

Just goes to show, huh.

Cause I am not foed....

Still pissed that Betiko tried to claim some measure of alligience with team GB. We all put effort into our medals with the National Lottery. It has piss all to do with being European.

Re-focus or co-focus?

Also Polish chic is an idiot. No question there.
