Actually I blame the Conservatives who have to drive their Cadillac Escalade to go talk to their neighbour across the street. And when a conservative takes the wife out to dinner, they can't drive in one Escalade, they each have to go in their separate Escalades to put even more filth into the air. And when a conservative takes the wife and kids out to dinner, they have to drive in four Escalades in a giant procession down the street, like a funeral procession except the funeral is for all of us.




Let's not forget who made it political first Doom. So please don't hesitate to include Duk. Societies are not secret. It's the relationships of certain individuals that are secret.

Anyway, the above was a response (mostly tongue-in-cheek anyway) to this:

Food prices raising are caused by two factors: legalization of marijuana is turning all the croplands to weed and immigrants being allowed to eat our dwindling food supply. Both these problems are clearly caused by Liberal Democrats (aka National Socialists). Since Liberalism is itself a byproduct of the US Armed Forces, and their commander-in-chief is a Democrat, it is doubly due to Liberal Democrats.

So, far from being biased, I was just balancing things out.

Ah the nit picking of the lack of using quotations. Petty. Simply pathetic and juvenile. Your true colors have been shown. The color of peasant. My post was mostly tongue-in-cheek anyway. It's obvious you think societies are secretive yet there is so much information in the public domain. So are they really secret or are you just ignorant to the meaning of the word secret? If something is secret then there should be no information available. Because you know.....it's a secret.

Ethanol production from corn is a waste of energy and acreage. Producing Ethanol from sugar cane is more efficient.

This is true, but I'd rather see sugar cane go towards ... sugar. We need to really replace the corn syrup industry if we are going to be a healthy nation.

Personally I think we need to devote more research towards developing biological carbon recapture devices (otherwise known as plants) especially those that can survive salt water environments since carbon accumulation poses more problems in the oceans than in the atmosphere. And if they "pollute" the planet by emitting oxygen, so much the better.

(Yes I know, anaerobic life forms HATE ME.)
