Why'd ya call yourself that?

An inquiry into names.

Why did you pick your CC screename?

Warmonger is self explanatory. I don't explore passively. I thought it would be a good name for a war game.

"waauw" is basically how a dutch speaker would exclaim with a "wooow".

You're not fooling anybody. Joining CC's reciprocal wanking clinic makes you a reciprocal wanker. Calling your partners "stoopid" shows that you regret falling in with them, but it doesn't change the fact that you did it. Like Lady Macbeth, you can wash your hands forever, but you will never get that stuff off.

Most that know my name probably also know my profile states I'm 20 and created my account in 2006. Well, when I was 10 I wasn't the brightest bulb regarding online privacy and created this account as $FirstName $LastName. I changed it after 2, maybe 3 years to something else: Extreme Ways.

My dad was listening a lot to Moby at the time and although I'm not a huge fan of his work, the title of that song stuck and I liked the name. It's been my online handle ever since, pretty much.

Let's take the way back machine ... all the way to 1989.
There was an online service called Compuserve.
They had a game called "Island of Kesmai."
Moderated by "Ghods."
I needed a character name.
My CB Handle was Thor.
I didn't want to start off the game claiming I was a god or something.
So I changed a letter.
Tzor.
BINGO! Not only did I have a four letter uncensored word, it was unused.
I could create accounts and never worry about it already being used.
So I did
My car licence plate even says "TZOR" now.

Mine is an anagram of my birth family name, dkswrm. Simply rearrange the letters to get a new name - mrswdk!

You really need to stop baiting me, I already had one of your posts deleted. You are correct though, I changed my name twice. Once two include two stars at the end, and another time to include a heart I believe. Then I reverted back because it was too annoying for people to invite me to games, especially tournaments. You can file an e-ticket to have your name changed, but they'll generally only allow it once or twice.

I made this handle because at the time I basically survived on coffee, energy drinks and a surprising lack of sleep.

All of that would be true if it wasn't wrong. Congrats. I'm cleared.

Name changes are rarely approved. However, one of the few things that's considered a "valid" reason to change your name is to protect your privacy. Several people who signed up with their real name were later allowed to change it to something more anonymous. I don't know if they'll consider just initials to be as serious as a full name, but it might be worth a shot.

Yeah, I know about yours. It's not common, however.

I think if you file an e-ticket and request the change they'll allow it, but it is a finite option.
