For me, it was a sad bloke named mccartmz. Back in 2009, he was just a wee little lad but was unable to live longer than 12 hours on the site. In that time he was decimated in 2 games. I suspect that owen got to him before anyone knew he was even here.

So he goes through the whole process of creating an account, manages to stay 1 minute on the site, and... that was too much for his attention span. He wasn t going to bother to even try a game!

He played only three games, the last ending January 16, 2007. ryantong was guested, likely for being a multi. So, this guy was bored of playing Harry Potter Make Believe! with his friends, logged on to find this site, tried it out by joining some games, playing a round, and quitting. For whatever reason this dude returned nearly two years later, only to say "nah" and go back to playing Boba Fett Assassin Fun! with his friends. I believe he was likely 14 when he first joined, and had already experimented with Mt. Dew.

Ah, cookie_man, what a glorious 23.5hrs he spent on this website. Hailing from Portugal, where cookies are a national delicacy, this player decided to try his hand at online risk. I think he quickly realised that his name wasn't the most apt for a war game and, knowing he would get crushed by the mighty warriors Jack_Axe and Crazy Canuck, gave up rather swiftly. Nobody knows what happened to him after that: did he return with a more battle-ready handle? Did he retreat into the Portuguese slums to bake cookies for the locals? One can only speculate.

I also looked at the player who joined after me, MTL Hammer, who spent a solid three minutes of this website. I believe he was actually looking for this website. You'd think he'd have noticed from the front page that this wasn't a place for women's fashion, but it seems he registered and then quickly departed, though not before opening Live Chat and apologising for his rude entrance, eh.

------I looked C.C. over for a bit...I got back to my fantasy mock draft...I went on to other stuff...Now fast forward to New Year's Eve 2008(Dec.31st)...It was afternoon...I was waiting to see what everyone else in my family was doing later that night...So I tried to get away from the Holiday craziness...I went on my PC...I seen my Icon for The Risk game I tried months before...I remembered Conquer Club...Just as I was going to the site...My daughters came in...Like kids always do... ...As I was joining...I thought of a war name I could use...Gone With The Wind and my Father came to mind...Selena grabbed the keyboard. "I want to type it",she said...She typed as I told her how to spell Confederate...She then typed SS...Her and Sofia then started fighting...Spilling Sofia's grape juice all over me...
------They ran from the room...I joined World 2.0/1 as my first 2 games(came in second in both)...Didn't even realize they were freestyle...Before they finished(My 1st game,the guy who won,was 0-50...till we played...I am happy I could be part of his 1st win.)...I won 5 in a row...7 out of my first 10 games...Win number one came against Colemanus on Soviet Union map...Win number 2 came against steon2007 on the Africa map...I've continued to play these members for years...I think steon2007 stopped in 2014/15...But Colemanus still plays...THEY WILL ALWAYS BE MY FAVORITE MEMBERS ON THE SITE...TWO CLASS ACTS...

The first player to stick was 7 places after me, jeff16, who is still an active freemium as of this last July and who has risen to the rank of Cook after 3930 games in which he has won 8%.

Exactly, since when i started playing i was a colonel and these guys didn't have better ranks than that!

It would be pretty fun to see how we used to play in our first games. I know I didn t know any attack stat and i would even attack 3v3.
