Sincere Question

Granted, I am not that familiar with this forum, but I would like to have an answer to an important question which clearly concerns all parties who are involved in this forum at any time!

If there is a more appropriate place in THIS FORUM to ask this question, please advise.

Question:

Why is it deemed appropriate to Lock Down one topic where on individual is accused of Gross Abuse, immediately after the topic was opened and the accused individual has responded.....yet another topic is allowed to stay open for a long time, during which the accused is not permitted to respond....and then locked down before he can ever respond?

But to answer
when they become discussion instead of a proper case is when they are locked. Multi hunters deal in evidence only.
You also have to realise it is OUR interpretation of the rules that count. You can submit your views, but again WE are the ones here to enforce what we interpret should happen.
Or in the case of your accusation against a dept. head only admin can deal with it, so I have referred it

So are you saying when a Dept Head is accused.....there can not be additional discussion added to the thread....but when others are accused.... anyone can add to the discussion?

I think it's more that you. for whatever reason, will attract a lot of off-topic discussion and thus the topic was locked preemptively. Just like how in some sports matches there will be no awayfans, because of the risk of them clashing. This is also the reason why the second report against you (the one still in progress) was locked way sooner than the first one - the mods realized it wouldnt be relevant to the accusation anyway and locked it before it completely derailed.

I think the goal is to avoid bashing and further aggravation. Most posts that correlate to you become a war between your clan and the site mods.
