My parent's dog is eaten up with burrs. I agreed to weed the plant responsible for $50 and now I'm wishing I held out for more money. Their lot isn't huge (about 3/4ths of an acre) but the weed is literally all over the majority of it and intermixed with poison ivy and spider webs. There are also snakes of course but I've only seen garder, black racers and a huge (probably between 5-6 ft long) king snake plus a couple of smaller king snakes which hopefully means that they've eaten most of the actual dangerous snakes (I have sympathy for copperheads as they have their place in the ecosystem but I don't want to run into any). Years ago, they had an even bigger king snake living in the yard...I wonder if that one is still alive somewhere nearby.
