Just because you have a win condition doesn't mean that DDS remembered to paste it onto all of our PMs. Hint... he didn't.

I quickly re-checked my PM and I do have my win condition. This is odd indeed.

I've never been in a mafia game with no win condition. Why would someone not get that save for a mod boob?

It happened in Mandy's pokemon game. unvote pending further revelation as if nothing else, Im skeptical that Hotshot would risk himself in an attempt to save scum buddies thst would get him lynched as well if it went the wrong way.

[Fos]Thorthoth. Initially avoided the masket/Pika third party situation with a question about the Thorian. Follow-up post has him seeming a bit wary about what DDS might reveal if asked to confirm or deny the no win con thing.

Is this an overly complicated way of saying you think he's town / 3rd party?

Fair point, I did miss a few cut/pastes. Hotshot did PM me about it and I have since corrected it. Sorry on the late reply.

Hotshot I would say slightly leaning town especially now that Mod has confirmed. Scum don't tend to stick their necks out to save town. They might do it to get town credit but in a situation where it looks open and shut mislynch, the reward of getting the easy mislynch generally outweighs the town cred. Smart scum don't even stick their necks out that far to support fellow scum. Hot shot is smart enough to be counted in the latter category so I would give him town cred for this.

I understand your reasoning but I feel like you apply a lot of basic assumptions in your reasoning. Sometimes scum will stick their neck so far over the line that you'd think they're town. Also pushing for an easy ML is a basic and often transparent tactic.

I don't disagree on your assumption of HotShot however.

Humm... What's the purpose of stating that strike's reasoning is basic (presumably indicating that it's bad) if you agree with it? To me, it seems as a sneaky way of laying the groundwork for miscrediting Strike without causing a fuss.

I'm going to keep posting to maintain my game involvement... but I am still quite uncertain about everything and have no idea whom I want lynched...

But that's okay, brutal unthinking mobs lynching the wrong guy is a time-honored tradition. Is there a bandwagon to jump on yet?

None that I would join. DDS's clarification makes it mostly moot when it comes to talking about the win conditions discussion and we probably should steer away from pm's in general. As some of you know, I still hold the belief that we are highly unlikely to gain anything useful from a day 1 lynch and the main use of today is to maybe use our discussion to get a lead for a later day.

Bit of a strange one this. Obviously I can't go into detailing my role PM, but the way it's worded from DDS, I understand that 3rd Party are hostile but there only might be one. Regardless of that, as I said in my last post I'm thinking there probably is one due to the numbers.

Don't worry about it. A fair bit of info comes from night actions, so most won't have concrete theories until Day 2 at least.

It's more wondering if strike is used to more vanilla mafia games or if he does have experience with unorthodox setups.

I don't tend to play faction games as much but I have played in about every type of game I've run into. Kind of sped through tonight. should have a bit more time tomorrow.

I was about to go mental on you for flat out lying, till I realised that you're moldybutt. Took me a few games to realise who chu and frenchie are, but this one was too lame

My next question would be about Skoffin. Has she said anything in a while?

Okay so now we have figured that DDS hasn't sent all Win Con's, and therefore there is at least one third party, as well as scum, do we have any other leads? With the Deadline approaching quickly, could we possibly get a lynch (just to piss DDS off, ofc)? Day 1 lynches can sometimes allow town to earn a lot of info, at the cost of a possible town member. I think it's a generally good trade off, tho some would disagree.
