Image hosting

Post by Silly Knig-it »

I have for years been storing my signature photo, and other photos at photobucket.com. They know want a lot of money to allow me to store my photo there and use it here.

Does anyone have suggestions for other 3rd party hosting sites?

A lot of people on here used to use imageshack. Don't know if it's still around or if it's any good, but might be worth checking.

I thought I found a solution at PostImage.org but they are going to premium service. Since I only use the linked photos for CC I am not interested in paying much.

I saw some things on hosting my own site so I could put up whatever photos I want but I am not that computer literate, any helpful do's or don't's along that line?

yeah, photobucket is getting greedy. :( Used to use imageshack and left i believe because of the hosting of Gifs. Photobucket is on the way out. Customer service is shit too.

Photobucket has plans that aren't listed on their site. Like the "Plus 20". I won't go higher than that because at that point, you can just buy a domain and host stuff yourself w/ leverage.
