After I googled the word mook I have to say that since it has multiple degrading meanings I actually would be more offended with being called that than a fag...but I guess the site has to uphold the values and a warning shall be issued soon enough.

The standard definition of a mook is someone who is stupid or incompetent. The standard definition of a fag is a homophobic slur. Both have other connotations but what matters is how they're universally known. In my early days I was punished for calling someone a fag despite it primarily having a different definition where I live. That was not relevant and rightly so.

If you'd rather be called a fag than a mook, you're presumably straight and therefore the latter wouldn't be personally insulting to you anyway. You're also, most likely, a mook.
