I got the "only points count for him" mentality loud and clear. I do think points matter, but I think they aren't the only thing that matters. I would not be happy if I was a cook, but as long as my rank is half decent I, like you Betiko, focus on other things, which isn't to say I will never make an effort to get to a real high rank...I think about it often (but don't act on it). No one thought that PaP was the best player on this site, yet he made Conqueror before he was sent off.

I've never actively played for a top rank and I'm not sure it will ever be a possibility with my game count and tournaments. Regardless, the player in question is unlikely to join a clan unless someone tries to assemble a squad of high ranked players and assume it will do well, like PaP did.

It must be either S&M or TOP. I don't see him fitting in at S&M, so TOP? I can't see him fitting in there either though. It takes a special player to play in a top five clan (or just about any clan) and think that only their ideas would work in a game - and I think he is that special player.

looks like you didn't understand the joke in the first place... this guy is just a colonel, playing only his map/setting (which would probably not be more than a 7/10 in terms of strategical interest; but would need a round limit otherwise it's unfinishable). He thinks he's at least top 3 on the site for playing this over and over.
